(NOAH) Event recap ~ Global Tag League Night Four (Sunday, April 14th 2019, Mars Gym, Sapporo)

"It is frustrating not to be transmitted to other people, only the people who are in the hall"

Noah held the final night of their annual Sapporo weekend in April at the Mars Gym on the Northernmost island of Hokkaido. Quiet Storm was missing due to a concussion caused by a kick from Kenoh the night before, (poor guy also has a sixteen hour journey back to Tokyo, unless of course he is well enough to fly), and so the card was changed accordingly.

Kaito Kiyomiya was on autograph duty (and Noah announced the release of some new merchandise including a Noah towel, and a Yoshinari Ogawa t-shirt).

MATCH ONE
Akitoshi Saito, Junta Miyawaki & Naoyuki Yoshida vs Maybach Taniguchi & The Backbreakers (Hajime Ohara & Hitoshi Kumano)

"Second day of the Sapporo Tournament, I couldn't fucking crush anything"
Maybach Taniguchi. 

WINNER: Akitoshi Saito with the Suicludees on Hajime Ohara (12 minutes and 3 seconds)

MATCH TWO
Mohammed Yone & Hi69 vs THE TOUGH (Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura)

WINNER: Masa Kitamiya with the Side Suplex on Hi69 (9 minutes and 9 seconds)

MATCH THREE
Naomichi Marufuji, Yoshinari Ogawa & YO-HEY vs Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke & HAYATA

"Kiyomiya is a treasure of Noah, but Yoshinari Ogawa is also an important treasure for Noah. I'm glad Noah has a professional wrestling master."

Now the heavyweights are engaged in Global Tag League and with his decision not to enter it, Marufuji seems to have turned his focus recently a lot more towards the juniors, stating today that he "bullied" HAYATA a bit today (his arm mainly, and he also had a big smile on his face when he chopped him), and then next it will be Hitoshi Kumano (he also says he has a special "bear call" for him, which is "Kumo! Kumo!" ~ literally "bear").
After the match YO-HEY took to Twitter and wrote "Even though he's a rival, lets do it against RATELS".
I can see Marufuji aligning with (if not joining) Stinger to take on Daisuke Harada.

WINNER: YO-HEY with the pin following the reversal of the Outkast on Tadasuke (17 minutes and 23 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE
Takashi Sugiura & KAZMA SAKAMOTO vs The Revolutionary Cloak Heroes (Atsushi Kotoge & Mitsuya Nagai)

The night before the match, Sugiura and Kotoge had a kind of "Twitter war", with Sugiura sounding somewhat grumpy;

SUGIURA: It is the second day of the Sapporo event tomorrow, with a fully loaded team. I would like you to concentrate on the match rather than trying to stir up the fans. Thank you! Kotoge-kun*! You should be able to do it!

KOTOGE: Oh! Thank you for telling me that, I'm thrilled you did Sugi-sama*, its been hard to beat you recently...

SUGIURA: I watched your match today in the semi, your team is terrible! Wake up! Kotoge! Your way is not how Noah is to be bought to a higher stage! 

KOTOGE: Sugi-san, I cannot say that there is a problem with my methods. Whatever I do, it will be interesting and will increase Noah's capacity. That is all.

..so Atsushi Kotoge started the match by headbutting Takashi Sugiura, and giving him six stitches in his forehead (the last time Kotoge headbutted him, he had to have staples). However, Sugiura fought back like a demon, and although he didn't get the pin over Kotoge, the "Revolutionary Cloak Heroes" were defeated, with Kotoge proving that under his playful exterior...he is still capable of being a complete psychopath when he wants to be.

WINNER: KAZMA SAKAMOTO with the Trace Kick on Mitsuya Nagai (13 minutes and 22 seconds)

(Kun & Sama are Japanese honorifics. "Kun" is used when a senior speaks to a junior (not a heavyweight to a junior) and "Sama" is a high honorific usually used to a junior to a senior when "San" is not enough, in this case Kotoge is probably being sarcastic, but the word is usually found in business where an office junior might address a high ranking member of staff as this).

MATCH FIVE
GHC JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Minoru Tanaka vs Kotaro Suzuki

I am afraid that I don't have too much information on this other than there were lots of streamers for Suzuki, and Tanaka managed to bust him open.

WINNER: Minoru Tanaka (12 minutes and 29 seconds)

MATCH SIX
GLOBAL TAG LEAGUE 
AXIZ (Go Shiozaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima) vs Kaioh (Kaito Kiyomiya & Kenoh)

"The kick of Nakajima was like swinging an axe, and Kenoh's was a kick like cracking a whip."

"It is not settled, no, it is not settled"

Kenoh is the only one in this match without a belt, and Nakajima made sure to rub this in by getting in his face at the beginning and grinning. Nakajima made sure to wind him up even more by leaving the ring when they were facing off and walking round it.
Kiyomiya got caught in the kick\chop attack between Shiozaki and Nakajima.
Violent kick war between Kenoh and Nakajima erupted, with the fight going to the outside, and I think that Nakajima may have used a chair.
The match came to a draw, with Kiyomiya commenting later that they (Kaioh) will get their revenge in the final.

After the match, Kenoh got on the microphone and said "We can't finish it like this! This will continue! Listen up, assholes! We are going to go to the finals!"
Nakajima responded with something like "Did the singles champion (Kiyomiya) tell you to say that?"

WINNER: Match went to time limit draw at 30 minutes
