Akitoshi Saito and Masao Inoue have called attention to the revival of the dark army, "The Dark Agents", in Noah's Global Tag League after winning a series of victories, including over the GHC Tag Champions.
They finished 5th in the league with a total of 6 points, but these "three wins" were worth their weight in gold.
They caused the GHC Heavyweight Tag champions, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki to lose a point, and in the final official match, had Kaito Kiyomiya counted out.
The ups and downs called out to me as being worthy of the "Outstanding performance award".
Akitoshi Saito said animatedly, "Haha...I have seen Noah's bright new future with the new system, and this will tell you what is missing from Noah. It is darkness. Where there is light, there is darkness. Noah's bright new future and ourselves are one and the same. We won against the champions, so it would be nice to be given the right to challenge".
On the other hand, he sometimes played possum during the league matches, and at times felt truly worn out, as did sad middle aged, Masao Inoue.
"Ha, I'm tired...but we will do what we have to. That is what is needed for the new Noah, it's middle aged pathos."
Although Inoue kept talking (and about what I don't well know), the old ways of rolling up Nakajima and getting Nakajima counted out is alive and well.
Last July Saito won the GHC Tag Championship with Naomichi Marufuji, and they succeeded in defending twice, but they had to return the belts due to Marufuji's injury.
There have been many challenging experiences.
Today, they packed up Kinya Okada as in the past they had done to the iron-man of the era, Kenta Kobashi, and declared the revival of "The Dark Moving Center"
Saito said, "lets do it by all means, Inoue-san! But recently, I seem to have been making small change, so I want you to stop me if you see me messing around and showing off (rough)"
The interview ends with Saito teasing Inoue about a mistress in Obihiro. Inoue tells him laughingly to stop as it is a story with no foundation.
After which Saito apparently disappeared into the dark, and Inoue hid in the basement.
