(NOAH) EVENT RECAP ~ Global Junior Tag League 2019 (31st May, Yonago Convention Center BIG Ship, Tottori), NIGHT THREE

Takashi Sugiura turned 49 today. Touchingly he posted that "I will live for Noah", and a new banner was unveiled at the venue.
After that he spent the day stalking Masao Inoue, and photographing him at the urinal (there is unfortunately a gallery of these). In the evening, he was given a birthday party and was photographed smiling holding a birthday cake, and Naomichi Marufuji afterwards went back to his hotel room to eat some kind of fluffy confectionery, drink coffee and do a live Instagram video at 12.30am.

I am afraid I don't have too much information coming out of today's event, so I will post the results and anything of relevance that happened during the show in bullet points below.

RESULTS

GLOBAL JUNIOR TAG LEAGUE: Hitoshi Kumano & Chris Ridgeway vs Seiya Morohashi & Junta Miyawaki (WINNER: Chris Ridgeway with the ankle hold on Junta Miyawaki, 12 minutes and 14 seconds)
~ Instead of wearing each others shirts, both Ridgeway and Kumano came out wearing Noah t-shirts.

Takashi Sugiura vs Yoshiki Inamura (WINNER: Takashi Sugiura with the Olympic Slam, 11 minutes and 24 seconds)
~ Lots of streamers for the birthday boy, who also came out during the interval to sign autographs (and probably receive gifts from fans). Fans prepared special paper tape for him which read "Happy Birthday Takashi Sugiura" on the package.

GLOBAL JUNIOR TAG LEAGUE: Stinger (Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki) vs The Sugiura Army (Hajime Ohara & NOSAWA Rongai) (WINNER: Yoshinari Ogawa with the figure 4 leg lock, 11 minutes and 20 seconds)
~ Yoshinari Ogawa kept the leg lock on NOSAWA even after he had tapped out. NOSAWA said he had a "freakish desire" for a singles match with Ogawa, but admitted that it would probably have to wait until after the league had wrapped up.

Naomichi Marufuji & Masao Inoue vs YO-HEY & HAYATA (WINNER: YO-HEY with the sneak pin on Masao Inoue, 15 minutes and 3 seconds)
~ Masao Inoue suffers gout in his feet, and had an attack of it this morning.

AXIZ (Go Shiozaji & Katsuhiko Nakajima) vs 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) (WINNER: Go Shiozaki with the short range lariat on Quiet Storm, 13 minutes and 3 seconds)
~ 50 Funky Powers called this a revenge match as they had lost the title belts earlier in the year to AXIZ.
~ Go Shiozaki's shoulder and arm is still heavily taped
~ AXIZ kind of mocked 50 Funky Powers pose, but it is hard to describe what they did; basically Shiozaki stood on the ropes and held the belt up like Yone's disco pose, with Nakajima sitting on the ring apron in front of him, arms outspread like Quiet Storms.

GLOBAL JUNIOR TAG LEAGUE: Minoru Tanaka & Hi69 vs RATELS (Daisuke Harada & Tadasuke) (WINNER: Hi69 with the Stuka Splash on Tadasuke, 17 minutes and 18 seconds)
~ Fans are now calling the team of Hi69 & Minoru Tanaka, "Ultra Soul" (after the entrance music used)
~ Despite the loss, Tadasuke is calling it the "spirit of adversity"

Kaito Kiyomiya, Maybach Taniguchi & Akitoshi Saito vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya & Atsushi Kotoge) (WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Driver on Atsushi Kotoge, 18 minutes and 56 seconds)
~ Shuhei Taniguchi had to hold Kiyomiya back from Kenoh's provocation (this is rare for Kiyomiya to act in this way. Normally its Kenoh screaming at him, and him looking slightly cross). When he was announced, Kiyomiya once again went right up to Kenoh.
~ While the others in Kongoh wore red, Masa Kitamiya went back to black today.
~ Kiyomiya did the usual circling the ring after the match and shaking hands with the fans.
