(NOAH) "RATELS Season 2"

It all started at "Great Voyage in Yokohama Vol.2" on the 16th December 2018.
RATELS had been fighting with Yoshinari Ogawa and Kotaro Suzuki, and the focus was on Daisuke Harada who had asked Suzuki for a rematch for the GHC Junior Heavyweight, which he had lost to him only a few weeks before.
Suzuki (notorious for stirring up trouble with the other Noah juniors, both during the "Golden Era" and almost immediately upon returning to Noah in 2018 during "The Turbulent Era"), stipulated that if Harada lost to him then RATELS would break up. Daisuke Harada won the match and the title (which he would later lose to Minoru Tanaka), and then the unthinkable happened.
YO-HEY turned on RATELS, knocking Harada down, then Tadasuke and then (after a moments hesitation), HAYATA, and joined with Ogawa & Suzuki. Suzuki, being the devious person he was, had gotten his way in the end. The three of them would call themselves "Stinger".
YO-HEY never actually gave a definitive reason for his betrayal of the unit he had been so faithful to, except to say that he wanted to show Harada a more serious side of "YO-HEY" and that he was not going to play the fool anymore (it seemed to have not occurred to him, however, that he was referring to himself in the third person).
Harada, however, was both very shocked and very angry, and had gotten hold of a chair and was searching for YO-HEY backstage. Ling Don-Xuan was pushed away, Junta Miyawaki had been pushed off of the ramp, and Harada had to be taken in hand by HAYATA and Tadasuke and led from the interview area.

In the months that followed, HAYATA would defect to "Stinger" (YO-HEY said he didn't care about the others, but he welcomed "Wife" home), and then defect back to RATELS earning the ire of Stinger whom he had betrayed. Tadasuke however, was overjoyed to see him back, and saying with a hint of jealousy that he knew how to use HAYATA better than YO-HEY did.
The belts were also on the line too, with YO-HEY making an unsuccessful bid for the GHC Junior title, and then HAYATA & Tadasuke challenging for the GHC Junior Tag belts.
However, the biggest mystery was the interplay between Daisuke Harada and Yoshinari Ogawa. Ogawa began offering Harada a handshake either before or after matches, and Harada did once shake his hand. Then things grew more worrying for the future of RATELS, as the second time it happened, Harada shoved Tadasuke to the side for trying to stop him, and then YO-HEY interfered for Stinger. Harada added to the whole "what the hell is going to happen" feeling by one time lingering outside of the ring to watch Stinger after the incident with Tadasuke.
Harada, it seemed was luring Ogawa into a false sense of security, and the third time he did it, he attacked him. Things were left there as YO-HEY became injured and was hospitalized.

The whole RATELS vs Stinger feud was frustrating at times because it seemed that whatever was meant to happen, didn't happen (couldn't happen) as fate decreed that injuries would get in the way. In the first big match between RATELS and Stinger, Yoshinari Ogawa suffered a bout of flu and the card was changed. The second time, YO-HEY suffered a collapsed lung - and that brings us to what is happening now.

HAYATA went to visit YO-HEY in the hospital. At first it seemed that it was non kayfabe (after all, they are known to be very close), but later YO-HEY wrote on Twitter that he wanted to team with HAYATA for Global Junior Tag League 2019, and go for the third consecutive win (YO-HEY & HAYATA have won the league in both 2017 and 2018). Other visitors to the hospital where Daisuke Harada (who grabbed YO-HEY'S leg with the iron reaching claw that YO-HEY had to reach for things as he was bedbound and with a tube in his lung), and Tadasuke, who gave him a cigarette, knowing full well that YO-HEY couldn't smoke.
Others in Noah visited too (such as Atsushi Kotoge, who YO-HEY said was from the mental health department), but it doesn't look like that out of all the pictures that were taken, Stinger ever did. I expect this to be bought up at some point.
After his discharge from the hospital, YO-HEY acknowledged the difficulties of his being a member of Stinger, teaming with their enemy, a member of RATELS, and said he would make everything clear on the 28th in Gunma.

After the match which was won by Tadasuke (who has now beaten Stinger each time in some form, although today was a lariat on Junta Miyawaki), YO-HEY got into the ring and said it was nice to be back and he was getting better (although he did look very thin, pale and somewhat fragile). He then addressed Stinger and told them that although he was a member of their team, he would be teaming with HAYATA, and smiling told them that he and HAYATA would win the third victory.

(HAYATA watching YO-HEY'S speech)

He was in effect declaring war on them. The winners of the league, will get the number one shot at the GHC Junior Tag Titles, which were being held by Yoshinari Ogawa and Kotaro Suzuki. If they beat them for the title then they would be split over both RATELS and Stinger.

Ogawa does not often speak on the microphone, but he took it off YO-HEY, and said, "YO-HEY, Kotaro and I have this idea..." and he knocked him down, leading to both himself and Kotaro to attack him.
HAYATA (who had been watching), came flying into the ring to protect YO-HEY, but he was thrown out. Suzuki and Ogawa then attacked YO-HEY'S lung. HAYATA got back in the ring and fought them, but then realized that he was overpowered and so threw himself over YO-HEY to protect him.

They tried to pull him off, but HAYATA stubbornly refused, but they succeeded the third time, and at that point Harada and Tadasuke came to the rescue with Suzuki and Ogawa having the four way RATELS tandem kick.
Then came the moment that every RATELS fan had been waiting for.
Harada, Tadasuke and HAYATA stood together doing the RATELS handshake, and they looked expectantly at YO-HEY, telling him it was all right, they were willing to take him back. Harada had offered YO-HEY a chance to "come home" at the beginning of his betrayal in the early months of the year, but he refused.

This time, YO-HEY realizing who his real friends were, and who were not going to resent him going for a third victory or winning the belts (ultimately), threw off his Stinger t-shirt and came to join his old friends.

After being seen to by his teammates (and the seconds), he lent on HAYATA (before Tadasuke carried him from the ring on his back) as Daisuke Harada announced to the emotional crowd (people were crying and Twitter was exploding) that the four of them would henceforth continue on together, and that everyone in "Global Junior Tag League" were now their enemies.
TADASUKE called this, "RATELS, Season 2".

Things quickly returned to how it had always had been in RATELS, with one of their periodic squabbles breaking out;

Q: In the time of need, this is a RATELS return?
HARADA: Sorry, they (Stinger) are "rough" and they have no compassion. This is the result. Although, the four of us are going to start again, the junior tag league will start on the 28th. It will be 2 on 2. This time it will be us who will smash his lungs (YO-HEY), we will win and stop their third consecutive victory. Tadasuke, this is the last chance.
TADASUKE: Lastly, I will just say this....

TADASUKE walks off without saying anything

YO-HEY (leaning on HAYATA): It's hard to say how it is...! My lung is torn, and it has become like this...it's destiny. I have nothing to say, but fate. I have returned to RATELS in this way...I don't know at the moment, but once I calm down, I have to reflect on various things...first, the most important is the tag league starting on the 28th, so I would like to focus on that first and win the third consecutive victory. So, after a long time as a last request, lets say...
HAYATA: Same!
