The tag champions are also challenged on the day of the death on Mitsuharu Misawa (age at death, 46), Katsuhiko Nakajima said, "The challenger is hard. Until the final battle, we will go towards the final match understanding each other deeply!" He has provoked King Shame continuously, back lighting himself more than necessary.

Naomichi Marufuji (39), who missed three events (11th in Ozaki, 12th in Isanuma and 19th in Maebashi) returned teaming with Jinsei Shinzaki (52) and Daisuke Harada (32) to clash with the dissident unit Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya, and Atsushi Kotoge). He assisted Harada's victory over Kotoge with the Tiger Kick.

Kenoh, from Michinoku Pro Wrestling, faced his teacher, Jinsei Shinzaki after a long time, who told him "Kenoh, did you take my head? I will be 52 this year. Could you let me do it for 20 years?"
