On the 29th July, Noah's GHC Heavyweight champion, Kaito Kiyomiya (23), revealed his thoughts on Sumo Hall, the stage of his 6th defense.

At the interview on the day after the fifth defense which was made against Katsuhiko Nakajima (31), President Takeda announced the participants of the N-1 Victory singles league (starts on August 18th in Nagoya). Recognizing the intention of the champion, who announced his refusal to participate, it was decided that the next title match would be held at November 2nd at the Sumo Hall event with the winner of the N-1.

Demonstrating his commitment to the decisive battle, while showing readiness to accept criticism from fans and wrestlers by his non-participation, Kiyomiya said, "I think that Sumo Hall will be the key to raising Noah. I have made a firm resolution to stand in the main event without appearing in the N-1."

Sumo Hall is a venue that has always had a deep emotional attachment.
On October 10th 2016, Naomichi Marufuji challenged Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship here, and in less than a years debut, Kiyomiya came as Marufuji's second. "Marufuji lost and I regret it, but it was hugely exciting. The shape of the venue was special, like something out of a dream world. At that time I thought, "I too want to stand in the main at Sumo Hall".

The goal will be realized in November.
Then there is a target for the next stage.
"Honestly, speaking of puroresu in Sumo Hall, isn't it a strong image of New Japan? I want to change that. Sumo Hall will equal Noah. It will start in November".

As proof to make good his words, he will pour all his energy into the big match in the autumn.
