The GHC Tag Championship was held at Noah's 19th Anniversary event (4th August, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo), with the challenging team Akitoshi Saito (age not disclosed) and Masao Inoue (49), putting up a great fight. Even though they were defeated by the champions Katsuhiko Nakajima (31) and Go Shiozaki (37), the venue was enveloped in a "Masao" call. He struggled on until the sad middle age lost to the hard struggle. He look the kicks from Nakajima and the reverse level chop from Shiozaki like a sandbag.
