(NOAH) EVENT RECAP ~ N-1 VICTORY, NIGHT 6 (Edion Arena Osaka 2nd Stadium, 25th August 2019)

Noah headed back to the metropolitan hub by holding a show in Osaka today after a grueling tour in the south. Kaito Kiyomiya was an autograph duty, while AXIZ, The Return of The Dark Agents and 50 Funky Powers manned the fan club photo sessions.

Fans commented that the event started with the usual Noah light show at the start, and then they used the white stark spotlight afterwards, which fans said was stunning in effect.

While there was not a full house today, one fan commented that 70% of seats were filled, there was a fever of expectation and excitement at the venue.

MATCH ONE
The Sugiura Army (Hajime Ohara, NOSWA Rongai & Kinya Okada) vs Hi69, Hitoshi Kumano & Junta Miyawaki.

On his way to the ring, Hajime Ohara took the time to kneel, shake hands with a fist bump a little child who was waiting at the barriers at the entry way (who sadly everyone else on his team had ignored, NOSWA didn't notice, and Okada runs to the ring at lightspeed).

Match started with Okada and Miyawaki facing off.
I can sense a rivalry beginning here.

WINNER: Hajime Ohara with the Mui Bien on Junta Miyawaki (9 minutes, 56 seconds)

MATCH TWO
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, Kotaro Suzuki & Atsushi Kotoge) vs RATELS (HAYATA, Tadasuke & YO-HEY).

Yoshinari Ogawa went to HAYATA at the start of the match, and pointed at the GHC Junior belt.
Atsushi Kotoge is noted to have begun to do a lot of junior movements again (I guess this means that now with a lighter body he has gone back to moonsaults and other flips).

WINNER: Atsushi Kotoge with the Killswitch on Tadasuke (8 minutes, 28 seconds)

After the match, YO-HEY took the GHC Junior Heavyweight, and put it on his shoulder. HAYATA naturally wasn't too pleased, and so YO-HEY (after looking at the belt for a second) sarcastically handed it back to him, bowing and using two hands like a retainer handing something to his lord. All this happened while Tadasuke was on the floor between them.

MATCH THREE
AXIZ (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Go Shiozaki) & Akitoshi Saito vs 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) & Masao Inoue.

Masao Inoue was naturally today's target, Akitoshi Saito dogeared him (i.e. he picked him up by his ears), Nakajima kicked him in the face, and he got the Chop-Kick sandwich from both of AXIZ.

WINNER: Katsuhiko Nakajima with the Vertical Spike on Masao Inoue (10 minutes, 51 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
IPW Junior Heavyweight Title Match
Daisuke Harada (c) vs Chris Ridgeway

YO-HEY & HAYATA came out to second Daisuke Harada, and Kotaro Suzuki & Atsushi Kotoge for Chris Ridgeway. Yoshinari Ogawa (as warned by Daisuke Harada earlier, who said he would bloody him up), wisely stayed away.

During the match Ridgeway removed Harada's boot again (in fact he lost both boots and did the match barefoot), and unwrapping the taping around his instep, he attacked his bare ankle.

WINNER: Daisuke Harada with the Katayama German Suplex (4 minutes, 34 seconds)

After the match, Harada got on the microphone and said, "Who is next?"
The audience cheered "Kotoge!" and so Atsushi Kotoge came out and challenged for the title. Harada told him that he would humiliate him.

Match will take place in Osaka on the 16th September. When he had gone, Harada made the "Revolutionary Fist" pose behind his back.

MATCH FIVE
Kaito Kiyomiya, Naomichi Marufuji & Minoru Tanaka vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura).

Kenoh and Marufuji immediately squared up to each other, and then started the match. The childishness didn't stop there, as from what I can make out, Marufuji and Kiyomiya got into some kind of tug-of-war over the belt.

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Yoshiki Inamura (15 minutes, 10 seconds)

After the match, Kiyomiya (hugging the belt to him should Marufuji come back for it), made a short speech to say that out he would be central person in the match in the next Osaka.

MATCH SIX
N-1 VICTORY
Shuhei Taniguchi vs El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr

Taniguchi surprised many today by bringing out new techniques. I'm not too sure of what these were, but they were enough to beat El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr with.

WINNER: Shuhei Taniguchi with the Wyvern Clutch (12 minutes, 55 seconds)

MATCH SEVEN
N-1 VICTORY
Takashi Sugiura vs Alex Hammerstone

Hammerstone started the match by holding up his belt to Takashi Sugiura, when the bell rang, there was a test of strength. I am afraid I don't have too much information on this match, except to say that seeing the sunburn on both their chests afterwards, it must have been pretty brutal.

WINNER: Takashi Sugiura with the front neck chokehold (17 minutes, 20 seconds)
