TAKAYAMANIA EMPIRE 2, the fundraising event for Emperor Yoshihiro Takayama (52) who is rehabbing due to complete cervical cord injury, was held today at Korakuen Hall on Tokyo the 26th.

Noah's GHC Heavyweight champion, Kaito Kiyomiya (23) and DDT'S Konosuke Takeshita (24), DDT'S KO-D Openweight Championship, had sparks fly in their first showdown as the two young champions, who will lead the future of the industry, clashed in a six person tag. When Takeshita hit a strong knee attack, Kiyomiya countered with a drop kick, which evolved into an attack of defensive ebb and flow.

Although the match was won by Noah, Takeshita said "I was wondering if Takayama-san was thinking, "next I want to see a singles match between Kiyomita and Takeshita". I wonder if there was any meaning to come to the ring today. I don't know how many years it will be, but it won't make sense unless we do a singles match."

While Takeshita was motivated for a future rematch, on the other hand, Kiyomiya kept a meaningful silence saying, "I'm going to leave no comment for today."
