(NOAH) EVENT RECAP ~ N-1 VICTORY, NIGHT 10 (Fukushima National Sports Memorial Gymnasium, 8th September 2019)

Noah returned to the Fukushima National Sports Memorial Gymnasium today for the final show before they return to Korakuen Hall tomorrow to decide who will go on to face each other in the finals on the 16th September at Osaka Edion Arena. The last time Noah where here, Atsushi Kotoge sustained the injury to his arm in February 2019 following "The Revolutionary Cloak Splash".

In a nice touch, the banners today were hung in square alcoves, giving the appearance of them being on monitors, as Go Shiozaki was on autograph duty, and STINGER the Noah's Ark fanclub.

I am afraid that on some matches I have only been able to present results, on others I have only had information relating to what happened after, and some only a few snippets about what happened in it. A lot of fans are of the opinion now that a streaming service is long overdue.

Noah showed a small segment of Kinya Okada (who also fell victim to Takashi Sugiura's camera today), warming up briefly before going out to his match. This is an old "Golden Era" tradition and was normally used for high card and main event match wrestlers.

MATCH ONE
Seiya Morohashi vs Kinya Okada
WINNER: Seiya Morohashi with the Boston Crab (7 minutes, 35 seconds)

MATCH TWO
Hajime Ohara & El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr vs Hi69 & Sonico

Said to be a very good exchange between El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr and Sonico. At one point in the match, Hajime Ohara and El Hijo de Wagner Jnr pulled a pose on the ropes with Sonico, which was very reminiscent of Ohara's days tagging with Kenoh in Kenohara.

WINNER: Hajime Ohara with the Mui Bien on Sonico (9 minutes, 42 seconds).

MATCH THREE
Naomichi Marufuji & 50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs The Return of The Dark Agents (Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue) & Junta Miyawaki.

Naomichi Marufuji and Junta Miyawaki started the match off. Miyawaki noted to also be extensively taped on his shoulder and lower arm.
Despite the fact that he didn't win (and he came very close to beating Quiet Storm), he was said to be "shining" today.

WINNER: Quiet Storm with the 50cm Lariat on Junta Miyawaki (13 minutes, 14 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, Kotaro Suzuki, Atsushi Kotoge & Chris Ridgeway) vs RATELS (HAYATA, Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke & YO-HEY)

Hajime Ohara and NOSAWA Rongai sat at a table at the back of the hall and watched the match, they have a personal stake in it, now that all three groups are at each other.

WINNER: Tadasuke with the 2PAC on Atsushi Kotoge (12 minutes, 55 seconds)

After the match, NOSAWA got into the ring and began bating everyone again, in specific Suzuki. Naturally, after what happened yesterday, Ogawa wasn't too pleased to see him. I am not sure of what was said, but if a fight didn't break out, things certainly got rough (shoving etc), and it looked like RATELS were the last people left in the ring.
Tadasuke got on the mic and did another shrieking manic promo with his fist raised and RATELS joining in (HAYATA crammed himself into the corner).

On the way back, YO-HEY did his strange umbrella\walking stick pose for a fan photograph.

MATCH FIVE
The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura & KAZMA SAKAMOTO) vs Kongoh (Kenoh & Yoshiki Inamura)
WINNER: Kenoh with the diving footstamp on KAZMA (9 minutes, 31 seconds)

MATCH SIX
Kaito Kiyomiya, Shuhei Taniguchi & Minoru Tanaka vs Kumaxiz (Katsuhiko Nakajima, Go Shiozaki, Hitoshi Kumano)
WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Hitoshi Kumano (15 minutes, 59 seconds)

MATCH SEVEN
N-1 VICTORY
Masa Kitamiya vs Alex Hammerstone

"Endurance"

Main event was said to have the atmosphere of a title match (and while all of this was going on, Kenoh was photographed in short black pants, barefoot and bare chested, sitting on the wooden bleachers watching).

WINNER: Masa Kitamiya with the Saito Suplex* (17 minutes, 12 seconds)
*It took him two to put Hammerstone away
