Event recap ~ Premium Prelude, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo (Night 6, 20th October 2019)

Noah were two men down today as Naomichi Marufuji is in IMPACT (but he still kept an eye on things via Twitter, before bailing out at midnight as he was tired), and Sonico who has a foot injury. He was replaced by Seiya Morohashi.

This was the last Korakuen Hall before Noah run Sumo Hall on 2nd November, sadly the attendance wasn't great for a midday Sunday, but the shows itself was good, with Shuhei Taniguchi being voted the definite MVP.

Noah made a couple of announcements during the interval; Global Junior League will return at an earlier time in Noah's calendar than usual, it will be held in January next year. RATELS (complete with Tadasuke in a crazy video wearing his round shades and being on the phone) will face STINGER in the main event at their produce, and Dragon Bane and Hijo de Canis Lupus will participate in Noah on the 3rd December at Korakuen Hall. In addition Eddie Edwards made a video message to the crowd to say that Noah was forever in his heart, and spoke of Misawa. Michael Elgin also appeared to deliver a message, saying how much he was looking forward to being in Noah.

No Noah's Ark FC today, but red haired YO-HEY signed autographs. The ring had a blue border.

MATCH ONE
The Return of The Dark Agents (Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue) vs Mohammed Yone & Rocky Kawamura.

A fun opener which included Rocky pummeling Masao Inoue

WINNER: Masao Inoue with the sneak schoolboy pin on Rocky Kawamura (6 minutes, 34 seconds)

While Rocky disputed this with the referee, Yone left the ring, and so did Masao Inoue when a grinning Akitoshi Saito threw him out.

MATCH TWO
Hi69 vs Junta Miyawaki

Junta Miyawaki started the match with a high flying move to the outside of the ring (which I don't think anyone was really expecting), however, Hi69 is a veteran and soon got the momentum back.

WINNER: Hi69 with the Stuka Splash (7 minutes, 33 seconds)

Despite this loss, Miyawaki is getting stronger and stronger.

MATCH THREE
The Sugiura Army (KAZMA SAKAMOTO, Hajime Ohara & Kinya Okada vs Quiet Storm, Minoru Tanaka & Seiya Morohashi)

WINNER: KAZMA SAKAMOTO with a powerbomb on Seiya Morohashi (8 minutes, 58 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, Kotaro Suzuki, Atsushi Kotoge & Chris Ridgeway) vs RATELS (HAYATA, Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke & YO-HEY)

All of RATELS entered with sunglasses (but not the same type) to do the fist pose with Tadasuke. Once STINGER got into the ring a fight broke out among the streamers, I don't even think they waited for the bell to lay into each other.

YO-HEY didn't do too much to wind HAYATA up today, however when the match was finished he made a small show of bending down a little to watch the belt as they left the ring.

WINNER: Tadasuke with the lariat on Yoshinari Ogawa (14 minutes, 50 seconds)

Tadasuke cut a crazy promo after the match, and everyone just stood and stared, kind of huddling in a corner away from him. When he had gone, both Daisuke Harada and YO-HEY (not HAYATA) imitated his hand waving motion.
You know you are a complete loon when YO-HEY looks at you like you are a crazy person.

MATCH FIVE
Go Shiozaki & Shuhei Taniguchi vs The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura & Kazuyuki Fujita)

"This is a war"

Shuhei Taniguchi got in the ring and soccer ball kicked Kazuyuki Fujita in the face, then casually tagged Takashi Sugiura in as the ref told him off.
This match was Taniguchi AWAKE, and Korakuen were out of their seats for it.

Go Shiozaki took everyone out after saving Taniguchi from Sugiura's submission, after that Sugi got chopped (both machine gun in the corner, and otherwise). Fujita also came in for his fair share, and Shiozaki no sold him.

Sugiura had Shiozaki in the front neck lock choke with Fujita having Taniguchi in a sleeper, match went to Fujita via referee stop.

WINNER: Kazuyuki Fujita via referee stop with Shuhei Taniguchi in sleeper (21 minutes, 8 seconds)

MATCH SIX
Kaito Kiyomiya, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Hitoshi Kumano vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura).

As soon as they were both in the ring together, Kenoh and Kaito Kiyomiya made a beeline for each other. They weren't the only brothers to do it, Katsuhiko Nakajima and Masa Kitamiya were glaring at each other too.

Later in the match Kenoh and Kiyomiya had a brutal slap battle outside the ring. Inside of it, Kiyomiya tried his submission on Kenoh. It didn't work again as Kenoh found another way out of it.

Yoshiki Inamura had the crowd screaming with expectation as he lifted Kiyomiya high with the Oklahoma Stampede, however the more experienced Kiyomiya got out of it, and Inamura tapped to the Stretch Plum

WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya via Stretch Plum submission on Yoshiki Inamura (22 minutes, 24 seconds)

Katsuhiko Nakajima and Masa Kitamiya started being a pair of sarcastic brothers, with Nakajima saying that he has loved Kitamiya since he was born. Kitamiya came back with "stop making fun of me!" He said that they would defeat him for the titles at Sumo Hall.

Then the blonde brothers had their go, Kenoh saying that he naturally didn't know Kiyomiya since he was born, but he has known him since he took the introductory test to enter Noah, and when he returned to Noah, he gave him the first title shot. "I know you, isn't it hard to be pampered?" He said he remembered two years ago when Kiyomiya challenged for the title, and the hungry look in his eyes.
Kiyomiya snatched the microphone away and told him to stop it, he was sick of hearing it! He could hear what Kenoh was saying, and yes he knows there is pressure, but he has the support of the fans. Sumo Hall he will show a new scenery.
