"I am Noah" Go Shiozaki's victory over Kaito Kiyomiya to recapture the GHC Heavyweight

Pro Wrestling Noah celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, with the first event of 2020 "Korakuen Hall DAY 1 NEW SUNRISE" was held on 4th January. The main event was the GHC Heavyweight Championship, where challenger Go Shiozaki (37) defeated champion, Kaito Kiyomiya (23) with the moonsault press, and reclaimed the title for the first time in three years.
Kaito Kiyomiya was defeated, and failed in his seventh defense.

The moment Shiozaki defeated Kiyomiya with the Moonsault press, the overcrowded hall exploded, with calls for Shiozaki flowing. Kiyomiya, who lost the fierce fight, also had generous "Kaito" calls.

With the strong arm of the lariat and the strong drop kick of the champion, 27 minutes and 42 seconds passed as they met head on with no winner or loser so far, with the audience chanting "Noah" for the two who performed a battle beyond imagination.

While at The Tokyo Dome, New Japan where holding a big match, Shiozaki and Kiyomiya carved their battle in history in a show that was held the same day and had been ridiculed as "reckless", where fans shouted "I am glad I chose Noah!".

Shiozaki, who was handed the belt by the legendary Kenta Kobashi, shouted in the ring, "I am Noah." This his fourth GHC title reign since May 2016.
He followed this with "This is Noah's fight! This is the best fight in the world!"

Backstage, Shiozaki praised the former champion saying, "If there had been no Kaito Kiyomiya, this belt would not shine so brightly." This year marks the 20th anniversary of the promotion, and Shiozaki vowed to lead Noah saying, "I love Noah. I will fight to the end for it. I will keep fighting to fulfil everyone's dreams".
Shiozaki swore to lead the new Noah.
