Expectations of the league matches, explanations of the each confrontation and the excitement, their impression of the junior wrestlers, and their friendships, is also revealed by Kiyomiya and Taniguchi.

Right before the opening of the league, please read this and enjoy the hard fought matches of Global League 2020!

MIYAKI: The rules have changed in the league, and at Korakuen Hall on January 30th, there will be the two matches, the semi finals and the finals. Are two matches hard?
TANIGUCHI: Very hard!
KIYOMIYA: I've never done it in a singles match, but in a battle royal. It was hard at the time, and its hard to regain your strength when you think you are going to die. It is even harder when you have to do two singles...
MIYAKI: If you wrestle the semifinals in the first match, and then reach the finals in the main, it is about two hours. Is it difficult to recover in two hours?
TANIGUCHI: Recovery isn't impossible.
MIYAKI: So it is going to be in a state with a lot of damage?
KIYOMIYA: It might become a psychological battle
MIYAKI: Psychological! Which will then trigger the first challenge

A BLOCK
HAYATA
Yoshinari Ogawa
NOSAWA Rongai
Junta Miyawaki

MIYAKI: Which of these four are the most intense? Ogawa took the belt on 4th January, and has become more powerful.
TANIGUCHI: Ogawa and HAYATA
KIYOMIYA: I'm going with NOSAWA. I'm curious as I've never seen a single match.
MIYAKI: Certainly! I'm curious about the single match too. However, Ogawa and NOSAWA say that they are not going to enter the league...what do you think about that statement, Kiyomiya?
KIYOMIYA: That was my idea, there are negatives and positives...I can't really say anything.
MIYAKI: You can't (laughs).
KIYOMIYA: I respect it (laughs)
MIYAKI: Kiyomiya's phenomenon may be occuring (laughs)
KIYOMIYA: However, Miyawaki is injured right now*, is he going to return?
MIYAKI: He will return for the opening on January 10th at Radiant Halls, right?
KIYOMIYA: He's practicing in the dojo now. His condition looks good, and he is working very hard.
MIYAKI: He is already recovering enough to practice. If anything he has had time to rest, power up and return.
KIYOMIYA: He may return with something
MIYAKI: I'm looking forward to it!

What are the A block matches of interest?

22nd January: Yoshinari Ogawa vs NOSAWA

MIYAKI: I don't know if the two of them are even going to come out. Anyway, they are two veterans who have different bases. NOSAWA is Lucha-ish, and Ogawa is professional wrestling, I want to see what style.

25th January: HAYATA vs Yoshinari Ogawa

MIYAKI: An immediate rematch of the 4th January GHC Jnr match. What are your rematch experiences?
KIYOMIYA: Is this a rematch?
MIYAKI: What about your rematches? Do you want to have one with the person you fought recently?
KIYOMIYA: I don't want to do it, right? (rough)
TANIGUCHI: I would, depending on the opponent.
MIYAKI: Oh, and overturn the result. It is different for people.

A BLOCK winner prediction

TANIGUCHI: HAYATA
KIYOMIYA: Yoshinari Ogawa

MIYAKI: Kiyomiya, why Ogawa?
KIYOMIYA: He will never lose as champion! I had been a champion for a long time, and the desire never to lose in the pre-matches was strong. With that, and with experience, you won't be able to win.
MIYAKI: Ogawa is definitely in great shape right now! Taniguchi, you chose HAYATA.
TANIGUCHI: I was going to go for Ogawa, but he said that he would not come out
MIYAKI: I see! On the hypothesis that Ogawa will not come out, you chose HAYATA (laughs)

B BLOCK
Kotaro Suzuki
Tadasuke
Hao
Dick Togo

MIYAKI: Well, who are the most noteworthy wrestlers?
TANIGUCHI: I don't know, because I haven't had any involvement with Hao and Togo.
MIYAKI: No data on that. Kiyomiya, who are these two?
KIYOMIYA: Me too, I have had no involvement.
MIYAKI: So, we know Kotaro Suzuki and Tadasuke. Those two are known well (laughs)
TANIGUCHI\KIYOMIYA: Yes (laughs)

What are the B Block matches of interest?

Hao vs Dick Togo

MIYAKI: The reason why they are included in the interesting cards, is that they are actually teacher and pupil. Of course Dick Togo was the teacher, and Hao a student in the pro wrestling class. It's quite a dramatic development, Hao enters Noah at the Kongoh produce on December 4th, and two weeks later Dick Togo arrives and enters the same block in the league. By the way, who are your teachers?
TANIGUCHI: Kenta Kobashi
MIYAKI: Was there a singles match ever?
TANIGUCHI: There was once
MIYAKI: How did you feel?
TANIGUCHI: It was my 10th match, and I learned a lot, and it was a valuable experience
MIYAKI: A big presence?
TANIGUCHI: Yes, a huge one.
MIYAKI: Kiyomiya? What are your thoughts on Hao?
KIYOMIYA: My career is still short, but Ogawa is the one who can be called a master, and he has been teaching wrestling since I was a trainee.
MIYAKI: Ogawa-san! Interesting! An unexpected name to bring out. Is he a master or a teacher for you?
KIYOMIYA: That's so. Earlier, I wrote Ogawa (Block A prediction)
MIYAKI: You have a strong relationship with your teacher

Kotaro Suzuki vs Dick Togo

MIYAKI: They both have had incredible careers, and have held many titles. So, what about Kotaro? What kind of power do you think he can exert in a single league match>
TANIGUCHI: In B block, his career is second only to Togo.
MIYAKI: Togo has 29 years, Kotaro has 19! There is nothing to criticize in either of them. So, Kiyomiya, what do you think of Kotaro?
KIYOMIYA: He understands how Noah fights
MIYAKI: Ah, I see!
KIYOMIYA: He is like a fan
MIYAKI: I always think that he is so calm when he enters
KIYOMIYA: Kotaro's entry is cool!
MIYAKI: I guess this card will be a wonderful fight that everyone will roar to see.

B Block winner prediction!

TANIGUCHI: Tadasuke
KIYOMIYA: Tadasuke
MIYAWAKI: Why have you both chosen Tadasuke?
TANIGUCHI: Tadasuke is always in motion. His excitement under pressure is good, and I guess he will sustain that force.
KIYOMIYA: I think there is momentum of course, but recently he has undergone great body sculpting and muscles and thickness have increased, and now there is ridiculous horsepower. I want that power to erupt.
MIYAWAKI: Tadasuke has two votes from your perspective!

C BLOCK
Yoshinari Ogawa
YO-HEY
Hajime Ohara
Hitoshi Kumano

MIYAKI: I think the two of you know these four well. The block is filled with Noah wrestlers, and I wonder if there is little difference in career between the four blocks. I think these four know the Noah mat well.

FEATURED MATCHES

Hajime Ohara vs Hitoshi Kumano

MIYAKI: You know the ex-Backbreakers. They tagged for a long time, and they synchrony was perfect, but they broke up at Yokohama Radiant Halls on April 30th 2019, and went down an individual path. Ohara belongs to The Sugiura Army, and Kumano is independent. How do you feel about these two?
TANIGUCHI: I've been watching Kuma-chan since he was a trainee. I want him to do his best, and I want to see the outcome of each one.
MIYAKI: Kumano's body has recently become more and more solid
TANIGUCHI: He has been bigger for a while, and recently he's been training, so he has a good body. When your body gets better, you feel more confident. It's good.
MIYAKI: How do you see it, Kiyomiya?
KIYOMIYA: Mui Bien
MIYAKI: It is certainly Mui Bien (laughs)
KIYOMIYA: Mui Bien's Mui Bien when it comes to matches with Mui Bien
MIYAKI: That is Mui Bien! How good is Ohara? My strongest impression is his technique.
TANIGUCHI: Like his technique, there is a sense of stability.

ATSUSHI KOTOGE VS YO-HEY

MIYAKI: How do you see these two?
KIYOMIYA: Kotoge has really changed his style since joining STINGER, and I think his power is outstanding since he has entered a junior team. I guess there are a lot of strong feelings in the antagonism in the fight between RATELS and STINGER. I think Kotoge has the advantage here.
MIYAKI: This will be Kotoge's first league fight after returning to the juniors, so he wants to leave results. YO-HEY challenged HAYATA twice for the GHC Junior belt last year, he tried twice but didn't get it. I am watching the results he is going to leave. I wonder if he can turn over both. So, in this league fight, its bad to lose even one match because it is only a round robin of four wrestlers.
TANIGUCHI: That's right.
MIYAKI: So, there is a feeling that these two here must take it, especially I think with willpower.

C BLOCK PREDICTIONS
TANIGUCHI: Kumano
KIYOMIYA: YO-HEY

MIYAKI: Lets hear from Taniguchi
TANIGUCHI: Kuma-chan particularly wants to get results. I think there is nothing odd about wanting to do that in the league.
MIYAKI: Kiyomiya?
KIYOMIYA: Well, when I think about it when I entered Noah, I had only the image of YO-HEY for the junior matches. I think for some reason, maybe it was a single match or else an important one or a big match. That's why I had a strong image of YO-HEY and changed so suddenly to him.
MIYAKI: And Kumano and YO-HEY haven't had the GHC Junior belt yet! They really want to win the league and gain momentum!

D BLOCK
Daisuke Harada
Chris Ridgeway
Minoru Tanaka
Nioh

MIYAKI: Which two have your attention?
TANIGUCHI: Isn't it everyone you want to pay attention to?
KIYOMIYA: If this was soccer, this would be called a "death group".
MIYAKI: I don't know who will win.

Featured cards

Tadasuke vs Chris Ridgeway

MIYAKI: Tanaka held the GHC Jnr last year, and Chris is someone who has grown to reach the championship. Tanaka did his first shooting star press, which was dedicated to Lyger, at the 4th January Korakuen. It's amazing to bring this out in his career.
TANIGUCHI & KIYOMIYA: Yes
MIYAKI: Chris attacks feet, Minoru the arm in the "Minoru Special", which one will it be? Their style is similar as they both use kicks. Do either of you talk to Chris?
TANIGUCHI: Not really
KIYOMIYA: We silently lift weights in the dojo
MIYAKI: Isn't there much involvement?
KIYOMIYA: There isn't really an atmosphere to talk (laughs)
MIYAKI: That's right, you are concentrating!

Daisuke Harada vs Minoru Tanaka

MIYAKI: Minoru Tanaka, a veteran, is here. What about you two?
TANIGUCHI: Harada has the ability, is popular, and has a sense of stability. He also has the IPW belt.
KIYOMIYA: The scary part is what Tanaka is thinking now. When we had a singles match on the 8th December in Mutsu, it was experimental, and at the time I couldn't read his thoughts.
MIYAKI: Yes, to a great extent! In my view this is going to be a match which will draw in the eyes of the world.
KIYOMIYA: But, Harada is very strong. His speciality German is really strong.
MIYAKI: As has been said, this really is the "Block of Death" (laughs). I also want to see the transformation of Nio. I want to see the results from toning up, changing his name and changing his costume.

BLOCK D PREDICTION
TANIGUCHI: Nioh
KIYOMIYA: Daisuke Harada

MIYAKI: Interesting! Lets start with Taniguchi.
TANIGUCHI: Hi69 has been reborn as Nio. It has been said that he hasn't done much since he entered Kongoh and not got any results, but I wonder if he will reveal himself here?
MIYAKI: I see, I see! He may be aiming. Kiyomiya?
KIYOMIYA: Harada! I want to see the Katayama German!
MIYAKI: I also want to see it!
KIYOMIYA: I have an obsession with it.
MIYAKI: I didn't know that (laughs). How is the Katayama from someone who watches it obsessively?
KIYOMIYA: I want to see it live. It is beautiful no matter how many times you look at it, and the Katayama Avalanche German from the corner lit a fire.
MIYAKI: The world's first Avalanche German Suplex hold.
KIYOMIYA: That was so amazing!
MIYAKI: It sounds really amazing, and its extraordinary when you think it really happened.
KIYOMIYA: It was unthinkable that it could happen
MIYAKI: Anyone who is a pro wrestling fan, can imagine it just once; an Avalanche German Suplex Hold. But it's actually possible.
KIYOMIYA: But it really happened.

A vs B block finalists!
TANIGUCHI: HAYATA (vs Tadasuke)
KIYOMIYA: Tadasuke (vs Yoshinari Ogawa)

MIYAKI: Kiyomiya, why did you chose Ogawa vs Tadasuke, and give Tadasuke the win?
KIYOMIYA: It's their first match, and Tadasuke will make use of his horsepower to make it end quickly! I guess it will go in an instant.
MIYAKI: You can imagine it will be quick with that power! But what about Taniguchi?
TANIGUCHI: There will be some regrets that he lost the belt before now, but with Tadasuke's power and clever use of force, I think he can do it.
MIYAKI: Same, and because RATELS know each other well, "horsepower" is a good quote.
TANIGUCHI: That's right.
MIYAKI: Certainly, it is true that you want to make it a short match. After that, there is the final.

C vs D block finalists
TANIGUCHI: Kumano (Hitoshi Kumano vs Nioh)
Kiyomiya: Harada (YO-HEY vs Daisuke Harada)

MIYAKI: First, Kiyomiya
KIYOMIYA: It's the Katayama German (laugh), if he pulls out the Avalanch type, you cannot win.
MIYAKI: Katayama German (laughs) That's right! Well, Taniguchi chose Kumano!
TANIGUCHI: I think its easy to understand that after all, he wants to glaringly leave results this year.
MIYAKI: I see! So, in the finals we have Kiyomiya's Tadasuke vs Harada, and Taniguchi has HAYATA vs Kumano. Lets predict the winner! This years Global Junior League 2020 winner is...!?
TANIGUCHI: Hitoshi Kumano (HAYATA vs Hitoshi Kumano)
KIYOMIYA: Daisuke Harada (Tadasuke vs Daisuke Harada)

MIYAKI: Taniguchi's winner is Kumano! Kiyomiya's is Harada! Lets find out why.
KIYOMIYA: Show me the Katayama German! I want to see the Katayama German! (Laughs)
MIYAKI: I for one want to see it! (Laughs)
KIYOMIYA: I want to see the Katayama at the venue!
MIYAKI: Taniguchi has Kuma-chan!
TANIGUCHI: Only Kuma-chan, Kuma-chan
MIYAKI: You cannot seen anyone else?
TANIGUCHI: I can't see anything more (laughs)
MIYAKI: It was a leading question (laugh). Just like Kumano's condition and Taniguchi's thoughts on it. Because that is how it is.
TANIGUCHI: Yes!
