Pro Wrestling Noah's Naomichi Marufuji (40) updated his Instagram on the 5th to send thanks to Jushin Thunder Lyger on his retirement. On that day at "Wrestle Kingdom 14", Lyger ended his active wrestler life which spanned more than 35 years after being defeated by Hiromu Takahashi (35).

Marufuji posted a photo with Lyger saying, "I wonder if you will be angry? Please forgive me for this." Worried about using the photo he said, "You are one of the most important people to me as a professional wrestler. I had admiration as a child, and I also had a special feature VHS. The boy was able to wrestle the person he admired."

Looking back on memories of fighting in the ring, he wrote a thank you to the "benefactor" who transcends promotions saying, "Thank you for your hard work, and finally, thank you so much"
