Keiji Mutoh's WRESTLE-1's "WONDER CARNIVAL", was held at the Edion Arena Osaka (Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) on the 31st December.
In the main event, Pro Wrestling Noah's GHC Heavyweight champion, Kaito Kiyomiya (23) and WRESTLE-1 openweight champion, Daiki Inaba (31), formed their first tag together and defeated the group of WRESTLE-1'S Shotaro Ashino (29) and Pro Wrestling Noah's Katsuhiko Nakajima (31).

Fifty athletes from eight promotions gathered for the all star main event, and the ring shone with two championship belts.

Inaba spoke in the ring on behalf of the promotion, and said, "There are a lot of interesting TV shows and events on at New Years Eve, but in the future New Years Eve will mean professional wrestling. We will try out hardest, and please come again".

Kiyomiya commented, "I came to spread a new view, but the breadth of it has been broadened by the possibilities of a new value spread today. The champions who are leading the promotions are of the same generations, I felt we were fighting for something closely related".

The generational shift in the professional wrestling world in 2020, is likely to accelerate further.
