After defeating Daiki Inaba at Korakuen Hall on January 12th, Pro Wrestling Noah's Katsuhiko Nakajima won the W-1 championship. We asked Nakajima, who provokes both W-1 wrestlers and fans with his sarcasm, to respond in a Q&A before his first defense against Shotaro Ashino at Korakuen Hall on February 12th.

Q: Please share your impressions of the W-1 Wrestler, Inaba who you will wrestle twice, once at New Year and again at Korakuen Hall on January 12th.
NAKAJIMA: Inaba is a NO. I don't know anything else that he has done.

Q: After saying "I am not interested", please tell us why you accepted the title match with Inaba
NAKAJIMA: I reluctantly replied because he wanted it. I am kind.

Q: What did you think about Ashino making a challenge at Korakuen Hall on January 12th? Also, what do you think about the fact that only Ashino came out?
NAKAJIMA: That is nothing to do with me. Did anyone else even prepare to come out? (laughs)

Q: What was your impression of Ashino when you tagged at New Years Eve?
NAKAJIMA: His beard was clean, and he has the same sense of cleanliness that I do. He's pretty good like that. The importance is that wrestlers have the essentials.

Q: Please tell is why you accepted the title match?
NAKAJIMA: Because I am busy with my next job. But he was so cute, he even went to collect the belt twice like a puppy (laughs).

Q: What is your motivation for going to W-1?
NAKAJIMA: Is it to make the Noah fans with Noah love come and see it and feel good? It's a refreshment.

Q: You said "both the wrestlers and the fans are dull", please tell us of your impressions of the W-1 fans.
NAKAJIMA: It is me vs W-1 right? Whatever it is, look up "dull" if you want.

Q: What do you think of Ashino saying that it is a match to regain the pride of W-1?
NAKAJIMA: By all means, wrestlers and fans will unite.

Q: What is the most important thing you would like to show in the title match with Ashino at Korakuen Hall on February 12th?
NAKAJIMA: A tight schedule does not matter, is my heart too magnanimous for professional wrestling?
