Noah's GHC National Champion, Takashi Sugiura (49) has started "scouting" for challengers, with the aim of improving the value of the belt since defeating Shuhei Taniguchi, Masa Kitamiya, Kaito Kiyomiya and other members of Noah since winning the championship in November last year. At the Korakuen Hall event on 29th March in Tokyo, which will be a show featuring only the four major GHC championships, Minoru Tanaka has challenged for his fourth defense.
Looking back in the title defenses so far he said, "I think that it is going in a different direction from the GHC Heavyweight that was originally planned, both in pace and in being held locally." Sugiura continued his willingness to defend the belt against external challengers, "The next title match is with an outside wrestler, and like with Tanaka, I want to do it more and more". He is serious about finding a challenger.
"Because there are more opportunities to go to other promotions, so going in advance (rough) is not possible in the current era, so I want to keep an eye on all the interesting wrestlers".

In addition to participating in Real Japan Pro at Korakuen Hall on April 19th, he will also participate in Champions Carnival (CC), All Japan's spring festival that will begin on April 6th, and he will use this chance to feedback to the National Championship match.
"By the way, is Scorpio coming to CC? What about Omori?"
The veteran champion is in full swing, and seems to be growing more and more mighty before arrival.
