Background
Eddie Edwards had made his debut in 2002, and came to Noah in 2005, although he had not debuted in Noah, he is considered to be Noah born having trained in the dojo and being a bit part of the "Golden Era", a former GHC Heavyweight champion (a mark of how much Noah consider him to be one of them), and probably the only gaijin left who is still completely active from that era. Edwards never won a tag match against Misawa, and they never had a singles match. Noah in that era was predominantly tag matches, singles matches tended to be saved for title matches, back then you would have never have seen a rookie opening the show against a senior\veteran in a singles.

I have done an exhaustive internet search for both footage and images and my own collection, but sadly the only image I can come up with is the one attached. I cannot as of yet find any footage, I think this is probably for a mixture of reasons, the footage is over ten years old in all cases, some of the footage was never broadcast, some of it took place at smaller venues i.e. Hakata Starlene, and if there is any, it was never made for commercial release.
I will of course update this page should I come across any.
