(NOAH) WHO HAS THE "BEST BODY" IN NOAH? WINNERS CHOSEN BY WRESTLERS.

Within the promotion is the most "technical", has "power", is good on the "mic" or is "good looking?"
A special series called "Wrestlers determined by Wrestlers" will show the number one of each division (there will be 10) by "In-Wrestler evaluation" from their perspective.

This is the fifth edition of Noah's, the "Best Body".

We conducted interviews with 24 wrestlers currently competing in Noah (contracted roster members and freelancers who have been in or with Noah for more than three years).

Q: Please tell us which wrestlers you think are "exciting" and why

1st place: Takashi Sugiura (14 out of 24 votes)

Comments of wrestlers who voted for Takashi Sugiura:

Naomichi Marufuji: He is 49 years old. No one can say anything about his body.
Kaito Kiyomiya: No matter what you think when you enquire about all pro wrestling groups, isn't he the first place?
Go Shiozaki: Although he's older than me, the firmness and the gloss of his skin and muscles is like someone in their 20s. It's unfair.
Akitoshi Saito: I was torn between YO-HEY, but I think from parts that are sculpted and parts that are natural, so from the perspective of "body" it's Sugiura.
Daisuke Harada: It is what you see
Atsushi Kotoge: No explanation required. It's great.
Tadasuke: Agile, solid and overflowing (rough). He trains hard and convincingly.
Hajime Ohara: Outstanding. At that age it's admirable, the solidity, the cut, his physical form.
Junta Miyawaki: Everyone says the same, no explanation is needed.
Kinya Okada: Referring to Sugiura? All categories. Even having to give a reason is ridiculous.
Katsuhiko Nakajima: Even from a pro wrestlers point of view
Shuhei Taniguchi: Everybody agrees
YO-HEY: Stoic. Before being 50, that physical strength is erotic. There are no wrinkles under the pectoralis major muscle. The skin is so beautiful. I want to kiss it.
Takashi Sugiura: I feel like everyone is looking at me enviously.

Sugiura was the one who received an overwhelming vote in the wrestler evaluation of Noah's "Best Body" category. From his debut, the athletic body of the former Japan Champion was catching. He had increased his weight before and after his conversion to heavyweight, but after missing time in 2012 (lumbar disc herniation), he sculpted his body and returned with increased muscular prominence, and even in his late 40s he has continued to bulk up and rather than maintain it, he has reached his present body.

Sugiura, has created a "muscular armor" which contain components of athletic and building, which has the "envious gaze" from the wrestlers.

With a skin gloss and muscle tone that makes you not be able to imagine that he will be 59 this year, have arisen comments such as "unfair" (Shiozaki) and "erotic" (YO-HEY).

By the way, Sugiura's comment, in which he voted for himself, was made after telling him that a lot of votes were collected on behalf. "The middle aged lift" (Tawara gaeshi*) is a good technique, but it may be said that the body, which is unrelated to being middle aged and overweight, is sexy...

*Judo

2nd place: Masa Kitamiya (5 out of 24 votes)

Comments of the wrestlers who voted for Masa Kitamiya

Mohammed Yone: I personally like Masa's body. Sugiura is amazing, but the scent of "old pro wrestlers" is pungent. Above all, it is reminiscent.
HAYATA: Wrestler-like
NIO: It's a body that I can't have, a type of tank like pro-wrestler.
Yoshiki Inamura: What I want to aim for is that body shape, a wrestler like figure and thickness of body. No matter how you look at it, the strength is amazing. I respect that strength as I think that it comes out with eating and training.
Kenoh: Very Showa*-like and very good

*Showa era in Japan was from 1901–1989. Masa Kitamiya was heavily influenced by Masa Saito who was predominantly active in the mid 1960s until the late 1990s, what Kenoh means is that Masa Kitamiya exhibits a more classical style of wrestling.

Recently, with the widespread use of body maintenance techniques, the trend in wrestlers body shapes have shifted to a "cool body route", but Kitamiya however is a young man, who has inherited the older style "wrestler figure" with what is called a "solid body type", which he inherited from the late Masa Saito, who was his teacher.

The general value of the body is that the contours of the muscle are clearly visible, but it also good for pro wrestlers that "a bulked up body with moderate fat is stretched to bursting point". It may be said that this is exactly the result of the sense of value that only wrestling can bring to light.

3rd Place: YO-HEY & Kaito Kiyomiya (2 votes each)

Comments of wrestlers who chose YO-HEY

Masa Kitamiya: When you look at the body, not putting on weight is a talent.
Kotaro Suzuki: Built to purpose for what you see (rough)

Comments of wrestlers who chose Kaito Kiyomiya

Masao Inoue: Personally, I feel like its not like a wrestler to have too many defined abdominal muscles, so in that sense he's getting better
Yoshinari Ogawa: This is also Kaito Kiyomiya

Kaito Kiyomiya and YO-HEY each received 2 votes.

Although YO-HEY does find it hard to put on weight, he has a well balanced body. Recently, he has participated in "Boss" Daisuke Harada's "RATELS Boot Camp", where he has increased the thickness and polished his "cool body".

Kiyomiya's body is also becoming more robust day by day. Training videos are often posted on his social media, and physically while aiming for a "new scenery", he has no choice but to evolve.

In the next Noah edition, we will discuss "Speed".
