Pro Wrestling Noah's TV match was broadcast on May 3rd, and the fans were in an uproar about the fierce battle in which front teeth were knocked out, and blood dripped from the mouth.
At the event a battle was held between Noah's most influential units, "Sugiura Army" and "Kongoh." Each of the six members had a singles match, and in addition a six vs six elimination was arranged for the main event.
The final match of the singles, in other words general warfare, was Takashi Sugiura vs Manabu Soya. Sugiura is the leader of the Sugiura Army, and the GHC National Champion, and Soya is the fresh face that has just entered Noah.
Although Soya has a powerful fight, it goes without saying that he also played a head on match with Sugiura.
Sugiura gave his feeling in the response, "it's easy for me."
Sugiura, who will be 50 this month, always shows his ability to fight on the front lines, especially with intense elbows and knees that pierce sharply.
Sugiura's violent attack broke Soya's teeth in the middle of the match, and there was severe bleeding from his mouth. ABEMA recieved many surprising comments from viewers such as, "his teeth are broken"..."No front teeth"..."His teeth are terrible".
In such a fierce match, it can be said that he was expressing his determination to conquer Soya.
After debuting in All Japan, Soya switched to WRESTLE-1. He came to Noah after WRESTLE-1 announced their closure.
Does he want to be the true top here? For Soya, Noah is not just a "new world", it is a place for wrestlers to have a match of their lives. In interview with magazines, he has used the words "last chance".
Speaking of Soya, he is known for the tag team "GET WILD" with Takao Omori. He was uncouth but this made his character attractive. However, in Kongoh his theme is "de-wild". His lariat, which he is excellent at, is was known as the "Wild Bomber"m but is now the "Ballistic". Soya came to Noah to make a break from his past.
Using Ballistic chops, an avalanche hold from the corner, Soya hit with his power as much as he could. However, Sugiura took the 3 count with the Olympic Qualifying Slam, but Soya had shown his ability to fight at Noah's top front, and above all, his enthusiasm for the ring was transmitted. The big chorus of "amazing" and "wonderful" which came from the chorus of viewers, told the tale of the heat of this battle.
In the main event Soya deployed a powerful fight, contributing to Kongoh's victory.
The "blood debt" that Soya showed today, such as a rematch with Sugiura, and the challenge to the GHC Heavyweight champion, Go Shiozaki, will all be connected to his future.
