Pro Wrestling Noah have announced that they will broadcast their next series of TV matches, "NOAH, NEW HOPE", centered around the young ace, Kaito Kiyomiya, on ABEMA fighting channel from 19:00 on the 24th and 31st May.
Noah, who have been holding empty arena matches as "Noah TV" since March, will show their future with a new project centered on the former GHC Heavyweight champion, Kaito Kiyomiya.
Kiyomiya lost the GHC Heavyweight title to Go Shiozaki at Tokyo's Korakuen Hall event on January 4th this year, but last year when he won the main event at Noah's Sumo Hall tournament, he promised fans that Noah will be number one in the industry.
Although he was defeated in February when he challenged Takashi Sugiura for the GHC National Championship in order to create his "new scenery" in Noah's 20th anniversary year, he teamed up with Keiji Mutoh in April and said he was eager to face the legend saying, "I want to stand opposite next time."
Regarding this project, Kiyomiya said, "What will I do, now that I am no longer champion? Right now, I feel like I am bursting into flames. I will show you what is in this program!!"
At present, no match cards or wrestler names have been announced, but it is certain that for the young 23 year old Kiyomiya, it will be a big step from becoming a "young" ace to a "true" ace.
At the TV match on the 10th, he made an appearance as a guest commentator. It's a big opportunity to gain popularity with the general public, such as having a "fan" in SKE48's Jurina Matsui who is known for loving wrestling.
But first, Kiyomiya pushes forward along the road of the ace towards the resumption of entertainment.
