(NOAH) Scramble History: Ricky Marvin vs Mohammed Yone

Welcome to "Scramble History" whereby I randomly list the current Noah roster and a past Noah roster and look into the history of any matches.

Ricky Marvin and Mohammed Yone had a total of 88 matches, spanning 2003 until 2015. They had no matches in 2014, although Marvin was in Noah. Yone did have a spell of injury that year, but it wasn't enough to put him out for most of the year, so I guess the booking was taken up with other things or else it was overlooked and just never happened for whatever reason.

Their first match was 12th October 2003 when Yone teamed with Makoto Hashi to defeat Richard Slinger and Ricky Marvin, at Noah's "Navigation Against The Current" tour. You will probably notice that Noah do not use these nautical titles anymore. 

By 2009, Mohammed Yone was part of Jun Akiyama's DISOBEY unit, this lasted until 2011. By 2012 they were teaming together as they were both part of Naomichi Marufuji's BRAVE, although they never made any title challenges, probably because Yone is a heavyweight and Marvin a junior. They teamed together in BRAVE a total of thirteen times, out of this they teamed together (and by this I mean not in triple man matches etc, them alone) ten times, normally fighting against the other units of that era such as Special Assault Team (Akitoshi Saito, Atsushi Aoki, Jun Akiyama, Go Shiozaki & Kotaro Suzuki), No Mercy (KENTA, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Genba Hirayanagi, Maybach (Shuhei) Taniguchi), and The Mighty Don't Kneel (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls). By their last match in 2015, Ricky Marvin had now left Noah (and therefore BRAVE), but Yone was still a member, and he teamed with Super Crazy & Katsuhiko Nakajima against Daisuke Harada, Quiet Storm and "Bengala", which was the gimmick that Marvin was working at the time. 

They had a total of five singles matches, all of them were won by Yone, the first one being in 2006. Marvin being a junior was usually crushed by Yone, a match in 2008 lasting only 5 minutes 33 seconds, and their last in 2011 only lasting 3 minutes and 4 seconds.

Ricky Marvin returned to Noah in August 2018 and took part in Global Junior Heavyweight Tag League and Noah's anniversary show, "Departure 2018", but he did not have any matches against Yone during this time. At the time of writing, Marvin has not returned to Noah.
