(NOAH) Card ~ N-1 VICTORY 2020, NIGHT ONE (Friday September 18th 2020, Nagoya)
In past years Noah have made a presentation of all the league participants (where it be Junior or Heavyweights), but with Noah now travelling with a reduced card due to Coronavirus, and some of the league participants not on today's card, this seems unlikely to happen.
The event will be streamed live through WRESTLE-UNIVERSE, and you will need to be a subscriber to watch as this will not be a free stream.
MATCH ONE
Shuhei Taniguchi, Mohammed Yone & Kinya Okada vs The Anti Wrestlers Alliance (Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue) & Masashi Aoyagi
Unless Yone decides to stamp on Masao Inoue's toes (Taniguchi won't and Okada is too junior), his poor gouty feet are safe.
For young Kinya Okada, Noah's Showa wrestler, a match against Akitoshi Saito and Masashi Aoyagi (both Heisei wrestlers) will be a valuable experience.
MATCH TWO
N-1 VICTORY (BLOCK B)
Takashi Sugiura vs Yoshiki Inamura
"Last year, there were some voices hoping that Inamura would participate in the N-1 Victory with his momentum which was so unlike a newcomer, but unfortunately as he did not have any results, his first appearance was postponed. This year too he hasn't been able to compete with the wrestlers on the front line, but he will make his first appearance in the N-1 and with expectations for his league debut. Can he take the surprise win in his first (league) match against Sugiura?"
MATCH THREE
N-1 VICTORY (BLOCK A)
Kaito Kiyomiya vs Masaaki Mochizuki
"Mochizuki entered the N-1 Victory in 2020, this is a continuation from last year. In his last participation he defeated Kenoh and El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses, and he left an impact in the fierce battles against Nakajima and Kenoh.
Kiyomiya, however, decided not to participate last year as he was champion, and this will be his first entry.
Who will take home the win in this all important first match?"
MATCH FOUR
Naomichi Marufuji & Atsushi Kotoge vs The Sugiura Army (NOSAWA Rongai & Kaz Hayashi)
Naomichi Marufuji teams up with the hyperactive Atsushi Kotoge (there is no Hajime Ohara to control him tonight) to take on NOSAWA Rongai and Kaz Hayashi. While Marufuji says he is looking forward to chopping NOSAWA, he also has a bone to pick with Kaz Hayashi as it was Hayashi who took the IWGP Junior from him once upon a time.
On a more crazy note, I am expecting some comedy between Marufuji and Kotoge concerning Kotoge's hat. The cap is going to be sold as merchandise at venues, and Marufuji said now you could smell like Kotoge's head. Kotoge said he sympathizes, Marufuji smelt of sweat.
MATCH FIVE
N-1 VICTORY BLOCK A
Go Shiozaki vs Manabu Soya
"Since coming to Noah, Manabu Soya has steady achievements such as winning the National Championship next challenger event, and he makes his first entry into the N-1 Victory. The opponent of his first match is the GHC Heavyweight Champion, Go Shiozaki, who is perfect for rising further. Who will take the first points?"

N-1 VICTORY BLOCK B
Kenoh vs Katsuhiko Nakajima
The kick fight from HELL round 2
"With the electric shock of Katsuhiko Nakajima joining Kongoh, the official match, which had been just a regular one when it was created, has become the hottest card in the opening round of the N-1 Victory. In the GHC National match between Nakajima and Kenoh on 4th August, Kenoh won with a high kick after a fierce battle.
What will happen as a result of the Kongoh confrontation, and the N-1 official match?"
