"The Mystery of The Orient", the Great Kabuki (72), runs an Izakaya* in Koishikawa, Tokyo. When I was wondering what happened to "Kabuki Wiz Family" due to the Coronavirus, I stopped by and Pro Wrestling Noah's Mohammed Yone (44) came to greet me on the 25th anniversary of his debut. "Mohammed Yone's 25th anniversary event, DISCO BALL" will be held on October 18th at Korakuen Hall. He had been to several businesses with a good poster.

Afro haired Yone, is a unique wrestler.
In 1995 he entered UWF and joined "The Demon of The Joint Technique" Yoshiaki Fujiwara's Fujiwara-Gumi, where he made his debut against Alexander Otsuka on August 18th, who was a fellow wrestler in the group. After transferring to Battlarts, he came to Pro Wrestling Noah, where he has been active as a disco character from the 1970s. The poster for the 25th anniversary event is also in the style of Earth, Wind and Fire.

Mitsuharu Misawa, the founder of Noah (died on June 13th, 2009 at the age of 46), was a promotion that consisted of All Japan wrestlers. The reason why he accepted Yone from an outside promotion was that he was able to do the "fun and free pro wrestling" that Misawa wanted.
Kabuki, who was a teacher of Misawa promised to support him saying, "For the 25th anniversary, there have been various forms of encounters between Fujiwara and Misawa."

It was in 2016 when Noah was oppressed by the Suzuki Army, led by Minoru Suzuki (52, himself originally of Fujiwara Gumi), that bought Yone's disco character more into the open. Reflecting that he "wanted to create a brighter atmosphere somehow", he enhanced his afro, and formed "50 Funky Powers" with then partner Quiet Storm, and took the GHC Tag Team Championship in 2017. A powerful fighter of 185cm and 110kg, his special move the Kinniku Buster looks good. Even in the new Noah which is under the umbrella of CyberAgent, I think he can show a sense of being at the core.

The former Fujiwara Gumi, will also participate in the commemorative event. The main event of the "Mohammed Tone 25th Anniversary Match" will be Yone teaming with Daisuke Ikeda and Ikuto Hidaka in a six person tag against Naomichi Marufuji, Yuki Ishikawa and Junji Tanaka.
Yone will also participate in a second match, tagging with Akitoshi Saito and Masao Inoue in collaboration with Alexander Otsuka.

Yone was delighted to have a poster put up in Kabuki's shop, and I want to go to the 18th with Sunday Night Fever.
