(NOAH) CARD: NOAH NEW HOPE (Saturday November 28th 2020, Club Citta, Tokyo)

Club Citta was used by Noah during the spring when Tokyo was on lockdown due to the Coronavirus, memorably they held all of Global Tag League 2020 here. They return there now with an audience, and an idol band, TEENS HEAVEN, who will be appearing.
The club has a history of wrestling prior to Noah bringing back its resurgence;

"In the 1990s there was a time when it was a mecca for pro wrestling indie groups and Joshi promotions, who would use it on Sundays at nights or during a holiday. Club Citta was rebuilt inn 2000, with the new club completed in 2002, but since then it has fallen out favor due to the availability of affordable venues such as Shinkiba 1st RING and Shinjuku FACE. The star shaped lighting remains reminiscent of the old club."

The event is very much Kaito Kiyomiya produced, and so far has only been held at Club Citta which has now become tradition. I would imagine that Noah will keep this up as it has become a good way of profiling the younger Noah talent, which is what these cards overwhelmingly are, and bringing outside talent in. In a way, it's almost as if SEM has been reborn.

WRESTLEUNIVERSE will broadcast the event on Sunday 29th from 21:00 JST.

MATCH ONE
Yoshiki Inamura & Kinya Okada vs Junta Miyawaki & Yasutaka Yano

Once again, the Noah born are banding together in the opening matches. I get the impression that despite where he has come from (i.e. the matches higher up on the card with Kongoh), Yoshiki Inamura is loving this.

MATCH TWO
Atsushi Kotoge vs Kai Fujimura

Kai Fujimura is from the now defunct Wrestle-1 dojo, since the closure of the promotion he has spent time on the indies. However, I can't see that he is appearing in Noah after this in 2020.

MATCH THREE
Daiki Inaba vs Manabu Soya

Wrestle-1 match as the two who have been fighting since 2014 go at it again, albeit under different circumstances.

MATCH FOUR
FULL THROTTLE (Hajime Ohara, YO-HEY & Seiki Yoshioka) vs Kongoh (Haoh, Nioh and Tadasuke)

The junior war continues, as two volatile units clash (before, during and after the match too no doubt).

MATCH FIVE
Kaito Kiyomiya vs Daisuke Harada

Another pointer to this being a little like SEM, is the fact that on a normal card at a normal show, Daisuke Harada would be facing Tadasuke (the challenger to Harada's GHC Junior Heavyweight title) in some form. However, as this is not a typical Noah show, Kaito Kiyomiya and Daisuke Harada will have an ultra rare singles match. Their last singles match was in 2017, and was won by Harada. Things are very different now, can Kiyomiya overcome one of his trainers?
