The signing ceremony for the GHC Heavyweight Championship, which will be held at the Yoyogi Stadium No.2 Gymnasium on the 6th December, was held in Tokyo on the 4th. Takashi Sugiura (50), who will challenge the heavyweight champion Go Shiozaki (38), said "At the end, I will become the face of Noah".

There was a sense of fate. Go Shiozaki, 12 years younger, first took the belt in June 2009. Six months later the belt was won for the first time also on December 6th by Sugiura, who reflects "It is the same situation as it was 11 years ago. I would put on the belt just like I did then".

They have fought many fierce battles, while showing respect towards each other. Shiozaki said openly, "He is a man who has fought for Noah, no matter the match. I have protected this belt to defeat Takashi Sugiura." Sugiura said about the champion who has succeeded in defending five times saying, "He is a steady and great champion, and after seeing all the defenses, he is promising."
Of course, he is not going to lose. Feeling the growth of the champion, he also expressed regret that he was "jealous of his success".

The last title match of Noah's year, which celebrates its 20th anniversary, has great significance fo Sugiura who is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut.
"Noah's 20 years are also my 20 years. I want to make more flowers bloom. I will get the belt for a Christmas present".

Even at the age of 50, Sugiura who says he is "in great shape" will take the leading role and conclude twenty years.
