Abundant training when young, has become his savings now

Takashi Sugiura, the "Don of The Sugiura Army" reveals various thoughts ahead of "The Sugiura Army Produce, All Dogs Gather 2! ~ Takashi Sugiura's 20th Anniversary Event".

On the 29th December, which will be Noah's final event in 2020, Takashi Sugiura will conclude his 20th year as a wrestler at the age of 50, ending the extraordinary year of the Coronavirus.
Sugiura reflects, "There have been various things this year, but there have been harder memories over 20 years."

As a member at Noah's launch, Sugiura's 20 years are also Noah's 20 years. There was a time when the status of the leading power was taken from New Japan, when Noah held the Tokyo Dome event for two consecutive years (2004 & 2005), as well as the Nippon Budokan.

"From around 2009 when I became the GHC Heavyweight Champion, Noah seemed to be struggling. It was painful. But, since then I am more fulfilled. The peak is about to come." He is confident in his anti-aging, and so in fact he boasts an unabated stamina in his trained body, and he has no choice but to nod to it.

To begin with, Sugiura thanked his parents for giving life to a body which is resistant to injury, said "I practiced three times as much as the young guys today." He says that he has an account saved from his abundant training when he was young.

Kazushi Sakuraba, his partner who he holds the GHC Heavyweight Tag with, and who together are called the "101 year old tag", who is 51 years old. In addition to that technique, they are gathering respect for the maintenance of their condition.
Sugiura says, "I will be riding the updraft for another 5 years. By my 25th anniversary, I will also receive the MVP of the Wrestling Awards, since 2010."

The 29th December produce, which will kick off his five year plan, will also be the first pro wrestling PPV that has been broadcast on ABEMA. Also, in addition to the matches, The Sugiura Army Year End Party after the event, will also be broadcast live.
The event will be intense of course, including the 7 vs 7 elimination match between The Sugiura Army and Kongoh. Sugiura says, "I can't even imagine what will happen at the end of year party. This will be my first time drinking with Kazuyuki Fujita, Kendo Kashin, Hideki Suzuki and others, so what kind of stories will come out? It may be things you don't see in the movies. It may be a series of secret stories. Because it's a live broadcast, the beep might not be in time".

The Sugiura Army gathers some of the most prominent people in the world of Japanese pro wrestling with the drinking party starting 30 minutes after the match. The wrestlers will be in a state of excitement, and the afterglow of the intense match will remain, and with alcohol, a gasoline poured in, a flame is inevitable. It seems that he is worried, or prepared for a broadcast incident.
The special interview, that will be aired for 30 minutes at the venue after the match, has already been recorded.

Preparations are steadily progressing, but the Sugiura Army is "free". Sugiura calls on free combatants and foreign wrestlers to want to join The Sugiura Army. Sugiura says about there being an introductory test at the year end party, "It may be okay if you immediately leave an impact".
They will also accept questions from fans, "There are no entries that are no good."

The Sugiura Army night without taboo is endless, on December 29th, the world of Japanese pro wrestling will be turned upside down.
