(NOAH) "Actually, I thought about cancelling or postponing", 12th February Nippon Budokan

Noah held a press conference in Tokyo on January 31st, and announced that the Nippon Budokan event "ABEMA presents DESTINATION 2021 ~ BACK TO THE BUDOKAN" ~ on February 12th, will be held as scheduled with the start time in two halves. 

Naomichi Marufuji, Vice President of Cyber Fight Co Ltd, which operates NOAH, explained "Actually, I was thinking about cancelling it or postponing it. But, we really wanted to hold the Budokan event, which is our dream and that of our customers, so we did this". 
This will be the first Budokan event in eleven years. "To allow everyone to participate, it has been divided into two parts. No dark matches, everything will be a main fight." Including Marufuji, a total of forty wrestlers, both affiliated and rostered, will participate. 

Until now, the opening time had been announced as 4:30pm, with the start time being 6pm, but as part of the measures against the Coronavirus pandemic, the opening time has been changed to 3:30pm. All nine events will be divided into two parts, part 1 and part 2. The start time of the first four matches will be 4:30pm, and the start time of the second five matches, will be 5:45pm. For fans who cannot attend the event, Parts 1 & 2 will be broadcast live on ABEMA, with the second part a free live broadcast. 

At the press conference, it was announced that the Noah logo will be changed at noon (JST) on February 12th. On the day of the event, the new logo will be displayed on the ring mat.
