On January 31st, Pro Wrestling Noah held a press conference regarding the Nippon Budokan (February 12th). Naomichi Marufuji, Vice President, and Director Narihiro Takeda attended.

The announcement was a change in the event start time. Due to the emergency declaration due to Corona, it has become necessary to bring forward the end of the event. At present, the emergency declaration itself is until February 7th, but it is unclear after that. According to Takeda, when it comes to events at the Budokan, the scale is large and it takes time to prepare. It was necessary to make an early decision, and because of the arrangements and making the circumstances well known to the audience, it was necessary to make an early decision.

"Actually, I thought about canceling or postponing it", Marufuji said. However, for Noah, the event at the Nippon Budokan is the first in eleven years. Kenta Kobashi, an alumni of the promotion, calls The Budokan "a truly sacred place".
Marufuji said, "I really want to realize the Budokan event, that is the dream of both ourselves and our fans".

The original plan was for the event to open at 16:30, and start at 18:00. Now, the schedule has been changed to a new time, and the event will be held as a two part event. The doors will open at 15:30, with the first part starting at 16:30. The first four matches will be held then.
The second part will be five matches, starting from 17:45. They are aiming for ending by 20:00.

Regarding the broadcast of the event, ABEMA will implement a PPV. All matches will be broadcast from the first match to the main event. There will also be a free broadcast, which will be the second part of five matches, in which you will be able to view the four title matches. For the PPV, special commentary by a great legend of pro wrestling has also been announced.

At the press conference, the card for the event was also announced.

GHC National Championship: Kenoh vs Masakatsu Funaki
GHC Heavyweight Championship: Go Shiozaki vs Keiji Mutoh

Marufuji says, "The first part is not a dark match, everything is done on the main."

The twelve person tag match between The Sugiura Army and Kongoh will be an important pre match for the GHC Heavyweight Tag Championship (Takashi Sugiura & Kazushi Sakuraba vs Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masa Kitamiya) at the 7th March Yokohama event. While reducing the number of events, it is an organisation of a card with the wish that all of Noah's wrestlers can go up to the ring.

In addition, the promotions logo will change at noon on February 12th, when the Budokan event is held. Marufuji explains that the new logo will be introduced in the sense that, "We will reach the passing point which was one of our goals, The Budokan, and set sail for a new goal".

Marufuji appealed to the fans with, "We are not the only ones in this situation. Under such circumstances, you can go to the Nippon Budokan with trial and error. I want us all to stand up to Corona together, liven up both Noah and wrestling together, and move forward together in the first steps of a bright future."

It was the same as last year when Noah continued to move forward, even under difficult conditions. Noah chose the "do" in whether to do it or not.
