Pro Wrestling DDT, Pro Wrestling Noah, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and Ganbare ☆ Pro Wrestling, all under the umbrella of "CyberFight", a pro wrestling business subsidiary of IT giant "CyberAgent", announced on 26th February that on June 26th they will hold a joint event, "CyberFight Festival 2021" at the Saitama Super Arena (Main Arena) in Saitama.
Each group will hold an all-star match, including three major title matches, the KO-D Openweight Championship, the GHC Heavyweight Championship and the Princess of Princess Championship, and inter promotional matches.
Sanshiro Takagi, President of CyberFight (DDT), who held the press conference said, "When CyberFight was established on September 1st last year, I was wondering if I could plan an event like a rock festival that conveys the appeal of the operation of each promotion. I would like to convey the appeal of pro wrestling to the fans of each promotion, and to the general public. I want to make it an event to bring vitality to people."
Naomichi Marufuji, Vice President of Noah, said "It's the first Super Saitama Arena for the promotion, so I am very excited. Since the Nippon Budokan, the scale of big matches have been increasing steadily, which is motivating. It's a sensitive subject, and while the issue of the Olympics is difficult, and while energizing Japan with pro wrestling, I hope that people everywhere will feel this and use it for future growth".
The event will be broadcast live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
