Noah's GHC National Champion Kenoh (36), who is preparing for his seventh defense (21st, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo), against "The Beast" Kazuyuki Fujita (50), is filled with fighting spirit stimulus from the "Prodigy of the Kick World" Tenshin Nasukawa (22).
So far, Kenoh has defeated strong enemies such as Kazushi Sakuraba and Masakatsu Funaki, one after the other. At the Yokohama event on the 7th he defeated Kendo Kashin and nominated Fujita as the next challenger saying, "To be tremendously strong, I will beat a tremendously strong man." For some time now Kenoh has aimed to be the "strongest pro wrestler", and this feeling was further strengthened at the Yokohama Arena event on February 28th when he went to watch "RISE" live at ringside, at their biggest event of the year.
"Those who were looking for strength, had ferocious eyes like carnivore. Some had spent their lives in the ring and were hungry. I got a lot of stimulation from that." One of the most impressive matches was Nasukawa's, who had a rematch with Shiro in the main.
"Tenshin Nasukawa didn't have much merit in taking that match. Still, I think that having a match and winning is for the love of the promotion itself. I really sympathized with his attitude of enlivening the promotion even at his own expense. If you are strong, you can do that". Kenoh further asserted, "I seek strength. Nowadays, there are wrestlers who are satisfied with "It was a good match", but I am particular about showing the origin of the battle, in victory or defeat".
Kenoh will reject the strongest challenger, and like the child prodigy he will be devoting himself to developing the promotion in the industry.
