(NOAH) Katsuhiko Nakajima vs Masa Kitamiya, 26th June cage match with loser loses hair underlies a ten year drama
BBM Japan
The excuse was the first defense of the GHC Tag Team Championship at the 31st May at Noah's Korakuen Hall event on the 31st May. Nakajima and Kitamiya went into the match as champions. During the match, Nakajima accidentally caught Kitamiya in the face with a right high kick, and although they won the match Kitamiya decided to use a Saito Suplex (backdrop) on his older brother. Kitamiya declared, "Since I entered Kensuke Office ten years ago, I have hated, hated, hated, hated, hated you, asshole! This is the last time!"
In January 2011, Kitamiya, who had served as the captain of the Wrestling Club at St Andrew's University, visited the Kensuke Office with the help of "The mainstay of Kensuke Office", Kensuke Sasaki's former tag partner and current member of the House of Representatives, Hiroshi Hase.
Kensuke Office, which closed in March 2014, was a "strict promotion" in every sense. Nowadays if you call yourself a pro wrestler you might not have been suitable for that time to to no small degree, even though it was only seven years ago. However, I think it was the soil that gave birth to pro wrestlers with a strong rigor. The introductory test held at the Kensuke Office dojo in January 30th that year was tough, but Kitamiya did his best and passed brilliantly.
Watching the situation with Kensuke and Akira Hokuto, was Katsuhiko Nakajima, the "eldest son" of the Kensuke Office.
After the collapse of WJ Pro Wrestling, Nakajima, who had nowhere to go, was gathered up by Kensuke and joined the family, after that he was bought up and trained by the rigors of the Kensuke Office. With Kensuke, Nakajima learned his teachings physically. Currently, there are wrestlers such as Kento Miyahara, who reigns as Ace in All Japan, and who took wing from the Kensuke Office, but on the other hand there were quite a few wrestlers who dropped out. Kitamiya, who was taught by the late Masa Saito, endured everything and until March 9th 2014 when Kensuke retired and the Kensuke Office was closed down as a pro wrestling promotion, he had supported it with Nakajima.
During the four years and two months that Kitamiya spent at the Kensuke Office, there were many things that made it happy and enjoyable, but on the other hand I don't think it was uncommon for him to experience severity that sometimes seemed unreasonable, and it may have been possible that the close relationships caused by a few select people, caused various emotions. The unmistakable fact is that this strengthened Kitamiya. That is why in Kitamiya's word "I hate, hate, hate, hate, you, asshole" I feel there is more to meaning of the word "hate".
Throughout the Kensuke Office era, they only fought in singles twice; on March 20th 2013 and March 9th 2014. Nakajima won both. Nakajima, who won the first singles, sent a encouragement to his junior by saying, "He has a fighting style of his own. Don't distort it. I want you to create your own fight." In the second singles match at the final show of the Kensuke Office, Kitamiya said "I am going to create a whirlwind in pro wrestling. With Masa Saito's teaching "Go For Broke", I will continue to push forward with the spirit of attack and destroy".
After transferring to Noah in 2014, Kitamiya has fought for the GHC Heavyweight and he still holds the GHC Tag with Nakajima, which is not a straightforward relationship. So on June 26th in the loser looses hair cage match with Nakajima and Kitamiya, the drama of the two fighting for ten years will come to a close.
