(NOAH) EVENT RECAP: PREMIUM SUMMER DREAM 2021 - Ishikawa Industrial Exhibition Hall No. 3 (Sunday, August 29th)

Noah finished up their August schedule of 2021 by holding a wild show in the countryside, that you would probably see at Korakuen Hall or Yokohama Radiant Halls. The fans who returned to see Noah after a few years away, where hopefully well rewarded. Although that is debatable about one of the matches. Today's event was not streamed live, but it will be put on WrestleUniverse on the 1st September from 18:00 JST. You must be a subscriber to view. However you can watch match five, the semi main and the main event as Noah streamed them through the official channel.

Things started normally enough today, Atsushi Kotoge, Daisuke Harada and Hajime Ohara did a photograph/autograph session before the event started, and Isao Nakamura, the Chief Advisor of Kanazawa Prefectural Assembly, welcomed everyone to the event. Kuniko Yamada was in the crowd, and Hiroshi Hase was seen up in the balcony watching the show.
Then the bell rang.

MATCH ONE
Junta Miyawaki vs Yasutaka Yano

I don't really have much information on the early matches in the show, so all I can really say for this one is that Kenoh was seen watching in his pink Noah shirt...the one he was wearing when he accused the official Noah Twitter of posting a picture of him in because you could see his nipples.

WINNER: Junta Miyawaki with the Falcon Arrow (6 minutes, 14 seconds)

The Falcon Arrow appears to be becoming Junta's new finisher. He used it recently in the ZERO1 junior tournament to win his first league match.

MATCH TWO
Kotaro Suzuki vs Akitoshi Saito

Kotaro Suzuki and Akitoshi Saito last had a singles match in 2019, and in all the singles matches before them, Saito has always won. Today seemed to be the same, Saito knocking Kotaro flat with a wave of the hands looking like he was doing nothing more than bursting through spider webs. Kotaro as a junior had to do what all juniors do when faced with heavyweights such as Saito, use speed and dive into that opening with momentum.

WINNER: Kotaro Suzuki with Crucifixion (9 minutes, 55 seconds)

Kotaro was attacked by HAYATA when he was in the interview area. HAYATA knocked him to the floor, and did the same thing to him, stand over him with the belt in his hand and with his foot on Kotaro's chest, and (after an awkward moment of staring at the camera), for the first time in a long time, he was actually seen to speak.

MATCH THREE
Takashi Sugiura & Otoko Sakari* vs Funky Express (Mohammed Yone & King Tany)
(*Alexander Otsuka)

Otoko Sakari did not leave much to the imagination, entering the ring in a robe (using a grabbing stick to hand things to fans which he took from a small plastic pot), and then disrobing to reveal that his attire for the evening was the rokushaku fundoshi. Takashi Sugiura (who probably wishes he could dress the same), looked as if he was trying to keep a straight face. The match entered a downward spiral when
Referee Nishinaga and Mohammed Yone were left puzzled by Sakari maintaining his pose of hands stretched in the air for a few seconds before shoving Yone and then attacking him on the "Disco Fever" rope break, with Sugiura later getting up close and personal with his tag partner as his head ended up in Sakari's nether regions.

Long suffering referee Nishinaga called a halt to the match when King Tany (for want of a better word) swung Sakari round by the rope of his loincloth and he was caught up in it, and then lets just say, something almost popped out. I think the younger referee at ringside had to throw in his t-shirt!

WINNER: Funky Express due to indecent exposure (11 minutes, 7 seconds)

Sugi couldn't believe it (although he himself used to wander around naked at Differ Ariake until he was told to put some clothes on), and Sakari walked around with the moon twinkling in the early autumn sky. Yone said that it's probably not a match that you should show to your children when it's broadcast.

MATCH FOUR
Daisuke Harada, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara vs Kongoh Juniors (Tadasuke, Haoh & Aleja)

"A little boy in the seat behind, said "Ahh! It's Tadasuke!" Cute!!"

Typical Noah Junior match with bodies flying everywhere, Daisuke Harada did his fist pose to the camera as he passed. The poor referee was the younger one, so all he could do at times was wave his arms and shout in vain, but no one took much notice. Daisuke Harada and Tadasuke were focused on each other, which may have repercussions, especially in Harada's case.

WINNER: Time out draw (30 minutes)

Tadasuke and Daisuke Harada both say they are going to settle this at the Noah Junior event in Yokohama in September. I'm not sure there will ever be any settlement between them.

MATCH FIVE
Seiki Yoshioka vs YO-HEY

YO-HEY looked a little better than he did yesterday, but he still looked hollow and with dark circles around his eyes. YO-HEY himself had said that he wished he was in better condition, and mercifully the match was short, although Seiki Yoshioka did batter him.

WINNER: Seiki Yoshioka with the Trigger (8 minutes, 35 seconds)

MATCH SIX
Masa Kitamiya, Daiki Inaba & Kinya Okada vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Mananbu Soya)

Kinya Okada found himself in the middle of a heavyweight feud (the heavyweights tend to only feud like this during leagues), where Kenoh's loud and angry focus was on Daiki Inaba, (who is in the same block as him), and with Masa Kitamiya and Manabu Soya destroying each other with shoulder tackles, kicks and slams, Kitamiya daring Soya to knock him down. Powerhouse Kitamiya however found himself caught in the middle of the Kongoh version of the "Endless Love". Okada proved that he has the potential to be a powerhouse too by lifting and slamming Soya, not a feat that is easily done.

WINNER: Manabu Soya with the Ballistic (11 minutes, 46 seconds)

Kenoh and Inaba where fighting after the match with Kenoh throwing Inaba into the steel barriers before getting in the ring with his team to celebrate. Nakajima wandered to the corner while Kenoh and Soya posed, and had to come back when Soya was presented with the "Victory Award" from a local business. There was a feeling in the air that something might happen, but perhaps that was just a foreshadowing of the next match.

There was a slight interval as Kuniko Yamada and Hiroshi Hase got into the ring to announce that Hase has been elected the Governor of Kanazawa.

MATCH SEVEN
Great Muta, Magical Immortality & NOSAWA Rongai vs STINGER (HAYATA & Yoshinari Ogawa) & Kaito Kiyomiya

This match was meant to happen in Kawasaki, but didn't as Muta had to self isolate and much to Kaito Kiyomiya's anger, it was changed. What happened tonight was suitable for a Great Muta match, but I think some fans found what happened afterwards a little out of place. Anyway, the moment the Demons and their Imp entered the ring, STINGER and Kiyomiya attacked. Ogawa going straight for Muta. Kiyomiya in fury stamping on him for longer than both HAYATA and Ogawa. Kiyomiya made wild angry tags to his teammates as they popped in and out, targeting Muta's knee. You could tell Kiyomiya was angry, as he was using the clenched fist mannerism which he picked up from Go Shiozaki, who in turn picked it up from Kenta Kobashi. Muta decided he had had enough when he bought the fire paper out on Ogawa when he went to put him in the Figure Four and it erupted in his face.

Magical Immortality is starting to develop his own character now, doing things that Marufuji would not, such as eye raking, using weapons and the use of The Gargoyle which has become his Shining Wizard. Another person who has shown character growth is HAYATA, who displayed a clever use of stalling to strike back at Magical Immortality and having an impressive kick war with him.

NOSAWA might as well have painted a target on his back as everyone appeared to be after him, even his demonic teammates who he had to explain to that he was on their side and to not attack him. It didn't always work, as like Kiyomiya, NOSAWA also got misted. NOSAWA should also have explained that the ringside attendants were not enemies, as Magical Immortality kept attacking them.

WINNER: Yoshinari Ogawa with the Schoolboy on NOSAWA Rongai (16 minutes, 45 seconds)

After the match, Kiyomiya decided to keep fighting and after getting red mist from Magical Immortality was dragged off to the back of the room by NOSAWA and himself. Magical Immortality choked him with a chair before NOSAWA hit him with one. Dragged to his feet he was hit with a very slowly moving car and then thrown on the bonnet before the car drove a short distance and he fell off. The driver turned out to be The Great Muta. Kenoh later wondered if he had a driving license. As Kiyomiya was taken off by a stretcher, The Great Muta made his way back to the ring, and looked as if he was trying to steal a baby. There was an unintentionally comical end to the show as Magical Immortality attacked NOSAWA, and then tussled him backstage...past Takashi Sugiura who was sitting and playing with his phone and taking no notice of a demon dragging someone back to the underworld.
