(NOAH) CARD: N-1 VICTORY 2021 ~ Special Prologue ~ (Monday September 6th, Shinjuku FACE)
With the N-1 Victory starting on the 12th September, Noah are holding a small pre-show today at SHINJUKU Face with what will most likely be a very eventful main event (as no one is going to want to work with each other as they are all N-1 Rivals) and a bitterly fought semi main between the junior champions and challengers.
Event today will start at 18:30 JST, and will be live on WrestleUniverse. You must be a subscriber to view this event.
MATCH ONE
Junta Miyawaki & Kinya Okada vs Kai Fujimura & Yasutaka Yano
Junta Miyawaki (who has now reached the block semi finals in the ZERO1 Junior event), opens the small show with the other youngsters on the roster. Junta is breaking out, Yano is continuing to grow, the fight between them is going to be interesting.
MATCH TWO
Mohammed Yone vs Ikuto Hidaka
Mohammed Yone and Ikuto Hidaka have a singles rivalry which goes back to BattlArts in 1997 and since that time has stretched through ZERO1 and Sportiva. Yone has won all the singles, most recently in 2017 at an Ikuto Hidaka produce which ended in 46 seconds.
MATCH THREE
Manabu Soya vs King Tany
King Tany (who Naomichi Marufuji said has been very quiet online recently) takes on the grumpy looking Manabu Soya, who is not going to appreciate crowns, jewels, unlit cigars or dancing. All that aside, Tany can be a monster in the ring and Soya will provoke that.
MATCH FOUR
STINGER (HAYATA, Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu) vs Daisuke Harada, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara
The STINGER vs Noah regular army rivalry rears its head again as Daisuke Harada and HAYATA start their war over the GHC Junior Heavyweight and Hajime Ohara and Atsushi Kotoge look to retain their position at the centre of the Noah Juniors by battling Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu for the GHC Junior Heavyweight tags. Harada will be fighting to overcome HAYATA, Ohara to redeem himself and Kotoge to get back to the core of the division. To translate Daisuke Harada expect, "Hana Dokan" - i.e. an explosion of sparks.
MATCH FIVE
N1 ROAD SCRAMBLE 4vs4 Elimination Match
Takashi Sugiura, Kenoh, Kotaro Suzuki & Masa Kitamiya vs Kaito Kiyomiya, Daiki Inaba, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Akitoshi Saito
Rules
The match will start in the usual eight man tag format
Elimination is by DQ, pin fall, submission and over the top rope
The last man left standing will win for his team
Those are the rules, the reality is going to be very different as members from all four blocks go to war with not only each other, but also no doubt their teammates, the only person I can imagine that Kenoh doesn't have a problem with on his team is Kotaro Suzuki. I can see out of the two teams, Kiyomiya's one perhaps being the more functional.
