It doesn't feel strange with long tights

"I wanted to shake off the image I had up until now, and bring out a new one"

Since March 2019, Kiyomiya has been wearing beautiful gowns and spats* with blonde hair. He had a strong image, but he changed in the N-1 in September of this year to black hair and long black tights. Breaking away from his Prince Charming image of the past, his masculinity and his energy has increased and he has become very ethereal.

"I decided I wanted to do this, and not worry what the people around me were saying. But, I did hear people saying that spats are good and if I keep this trend going, then I am going to be a wrestler who cares about the details around me."

Kiyomiya carried Noah on his back at a young age, and continued to live up to what expectations were around him. Now that he has gone to the next stage, he remains faithful to his own feelings. One of the manifestations of this is the attempt at wearing long tights, which he has always wanted to do.

"I was worried that it would be difficult to move in, but it doesn't feel strange, and it was good to make the material of the tights stretchable."

Kiyomiya ordered the costume personally, he was particular about the details as he based it on Kevin Mask of "Kinnikuman II". In the N-1 he may only have finished in the best four, but Kiyomiya will aim for higher heights with a new black based costume.

*Pants which come to the calves almost, kind of like what Daisuke Harada wears. Not the Western "Spats" which are black and white shoes.

GUCCI BAG
Kiyomiya carries his costume in a GUCCI bag.
"You know, I am particular about the bag. If I put it in a GUCCI bag, I feel like it is GUCCI" (laughs)

KNEEPADS
The right kneepad has the word "KAITO" in gold, on the left in white are the words "SUPERNOVA"
"I deliberately made the right knee gold because I want to smash the jumping knee into the opponents face"

SPECIAL MATERIAL FOR THIGHS
He decided to hide his squat trained thighs that he has done since he was a trainee, but he hasn't neglected to train so he loses them. A cloth made of special material is used for his thighs.
"It shines in various ways depending on the light, and I think it will look even better in big matches. I chose it because I thought it would be possible to create a costume that would have an impact on people"

STUDS
Metal studs are used abundantly
"Joshi use it quite a lot, but I think it's still rare for men. Girls adopt fashion quicker, so I think it's being ahead of the trend".

Kiyomiya wore black short pants from January to June 2017. After this, he went on an overseas expedition. From March 2019 until September of this year, his gown and costume based on green and white underwent color changes without changing the basic shape.
