Will The Ark sink?
At the Noah Sendai event on the 16th, "Beast" Kazuyuki Fujita (51) announced his challenge for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. A silent challenge was made to the champion, Katsuhiko Nakajima (33) who had achieved his fourth defense. The title match will take place at the Nagoya Congress Centre Event Hall on February 23rd. "The Devil Mask", Kendo Kashin spoke and explained what was in the heart of The Beast, who is of few words. For some reason, he sounded a warning to the Noah mat.

Ten wrestlers who were scheduled to participate were absent because they where either certified as being in close contact or infected with Coronavirus, however further turmoil occurred at the Sendai event. Nakajima defeated Masa Kitamiya after a fierce fight of 28 minutes and 40 seconds, when Fujita slowly appeared on the ramp. He walked up to the champion and stared at the raised belt for a few minutes. Finally, he looked at the champion for a moment and left the ring with a big smile.
Nakajima, who had received a challenge in an unusual way said, "Does he want this belt? I'll do it". After this Fujita looked at the camera and said, "Who do you think I am? I'll challenge you. If you want me to challenge you, I'll do it". Furthermore he added when getting into a taxi, "I don't know if this is "I'm Noah" or "I am Noah", but I will destroy everything. All I have to do is break it".

On that day, Fujita had participated in an eight man tag battle with Kashin in the fifth match, and defeated King Tany with a strong power bomb. However, Kashin left the venue immediately after the match, and when he learned of Fujita's actions with an exaggerated surprise "Eh? Really? Why did he do that? It's reckless", he spoke about what is in the heart of his ally after an exaggerated surprise.

"Fujita is always trying to destroy something, but this time it's a little different. It's not just destruction. I think if he wins, he will become "Fujita = Noah", and in the next fight against New Japan, I think he will fight as Noah's representative and win to become "Fujita = Pro Wrestling". Well, if New Japan has the amount to give Fujita..." Getting derailed from his story a little he warned, "I think Fujita will win, but it is very dangerous for Noah to become "Fujita = Noah". Even Noah, who has survived many crises in business, will collapse if it becomes "Fujita = Noah". In fact in the past, many promotions such as Pride, Sengoku and (K-1) ROMANEX have been destroyed. Noah should do everything in their power to prevent Fujita from being the champion."
In any case, "It's too dangerous for Noah for Fujita to be champion", is probably what he means but at end he said, "Fujita now destroys everything. In fact, he drank alcohol for eight hours in a row, including yesterday and when travelling he bought a burrito and a bento box* at a convenience store. He ate the burrito, slept a little, and then ate the bento. I think he's trying to destroy his body before Noah".

In Noah, The Beast has a track record of being crowned the GHC National Champion, will he reach the highest peak in the promotion? Sure enough, it doesn't look straightforward.
