vs Perros Del Mal De Japon (YO-HEY & NOSAWA Rongai)
TITLE MATCH: GAIN CONTROL 2022 in NAGOYA (Wednesday 23rd February, Aichi / Nagoya Congress Center Event Hall)

HIGHER GROUND 2022 (THURSDAY JANUARY 27TH, KORAKUEN HALL, TOKYO)
STINGER (HAYATA, Yoshinari Ogawa, Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu) vs Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai, Eita, YO-HEY & Super Crazy)

No one expected this match to be anything other than something the referees probably dread i.e. a maelstrom. There was the usual fight when STINGER entered the ring and immediately attacked, Yoshinari Ogawa attacking Eita and ripping his shirt. Eita wrestled the rest of the match like this. The referee vainly tried to keep order, and while STINGER were in the ring and Perros out of it, NOSAWA kept throwing Eita in to them, Eita got his revenge and threw NOSAWA on in. It took Super Crazy to calm everyone down, as Eita and NOSAWA started yelling at each other and order was restored for a while. However, when it came to YO-HEY vs Yuya Susumu, and everyone except Yoshinari Ogawa was fighting outside the ring, Ogawa was standing on the apron when Susumu was pinned. He made no move to break the pin.

WINNER: YO-HEY with the Gamen-G on Yuya Susumu (10 minutes, 37 seconds)

YO-HEY spoke on the mic, in a growling voice, which is unusual for him. He had pinned one of the champion and therefore he had the right to challenge. Super Crazy was standing in the ring next to him, but YO-HEY nominated NOSAWA as his partner.

NOSAWA by that time had already left, and he didn't turn up in the comment booth afterwards. Seiki Yoshioka said that if YO-HEY wanted to challenge, then his partner should at least be with him.
NOSAWA says he has been dragged into a strange situation...this isn't HAYATA and Yoshinari Ogawa, the only tag champions he is interested in. I think YO-HEY has probably taken satisfaction in preventing Susumu and Yoshioka nominating HAYATA and Ogawa as their challengers.

HIGHER GROUND 2022 (JANUARY 30TH, ACT CITY HAMAMATSU)
STINGER (HAYATA & Seiki Yoshioka) & Yasutaka Yano vs Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai, YO-HEY & Super Crazy)

Seiki Yoshioka appeared with the two tag belts as Yuya Susumu is absent today. NOSAWA created problems right from the start. If Yoshinari Ogawa wants a singles match with Eita, then he wants a singles match with HAYATA. This wasn't the end of NOSAWA'S mischief making however, he later tied HAYATA to the steel barriers by his shoelaces. HAYATA was the one that NOSAWA saw as champion, completely ignoring Seiki Yoshioka, even going so far as to make belt motions at him.

Seiki Yoshioka and YO-HEY (red tongue today) was said to be so high speed, that fans found it hard to take pictures.

"Show me more"
YO-HEY: It seems that Yuya-kun didn't see the progress of the new junior tag champion, but those two Seiki Yoshioka and Yuya Susumu, it seems that the two of them have acknowledged the challenge, and it has been arranged. There is time now until Nagoya, so lets do it without holding back! Right? NOSAWA!!
NOSAWA: In the first place...the champions are Yoshioka and Susumu? And, the challengers are YO-HEY...and I? Hey, hey, don't laugh. Why is it me? (Speaks to Super Crazy in Spanish) Don't name me so carelessly. I'm not appropriate. I will declare it again; Senior Ogawa and HAYATA-kun, are those guys the GHC Junior Tag Champions? Ah? If Senior Ogawa says "I won't do a championship match, I'll do a match with Eita", then I want a singles match with HAYATA-kun. (TO YO-HEY) Not me? Wouldn't it be okay if it was Kotaro or Paco* (Super Crazy). Hidaka is fine. It's impossible for me to challenge those champions. Don't be down, if you still want us to challenge so much together, then show me more in the match. I'm serious, please ask Senior Ogawa if he can do a singles match with me, and Eita for HAYATA-kun, as well as the championship.
YO-HEY:....OK.

STEP FORWARD 2022 (Korakuen Hall, Wednesday, February 9th)
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu) vs Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai, YO-HEY & Eita)

Eita came to the ring, swaggering, grinning and holding a box. Perros Del Mal De Japon gathered round it to see what was inside. When STINGER emerged, only YO-HEY faced up for the belts as NOSAWA was testing him and wasn't quite sure as to whether or not he wanted to challenge with him. The match began with the pre match for the Junior title belts as YO-HEY faced off against the tag champions in turn, Yuya Susumu and Seiki Yoshioka. Perros where kind enough to wait a moment before they attacked STINGER and the usual brawls outside the ring broke out. Yoshinari Ogawa's hatred of Eita could not be contained for long, and Ogawa attacked at the first opportunity. Even with the box. He also did some water throwing of his own when a half opened bottle was thrown at NOSAWA. NOSAWA had wanted YO-HEY to "show me more" in the ring, and YO-HEY did just that by holding off the tag champions by himself and then pinning Seiki Yoshioka with the FACE-G.

WINNER: YO-HEY with the FACE-G on Seiki Yoshioka (7 minutes, 57 seconds)

NOSAWA was happy to challenge with YO-HEY now, but they didn't have long to celebrate as Yuya Susumu attacked them. Susumu was beaten down with the tag belts, with NOSAWA battering him and even throwing it outside the ring when he was done. Then the victors posed with their boots on Susumu.

Backstage NOSAWA explained his in ring enthusiasm and it wasn't so nice

NOSAWA: Nagoya, Nagoya. I'll do it.
YO-HEY: OK, OK. If I do say so myself, NOSAWA'S tension has risen. Susumu & Yoshioka, shouldn't you be prepared for this?
NOSAWA: Tension hasn't risen at all. I will start from the beginning
YO-HEY: That's fine.
NOSAWA: Because you don't even have someone to challenge with, I'll challenge with you. Thank you, right? When I saw the face of the champion looking at Yoshioka and Susumu with the belts that had been taken away, I was suddenly angry. That is why. I can't just switch it on, I will do it because I have do and because it's been arranged. That is all.

NOSAWA leaves

YO-HEY: Okay well, yeah. Today is over, tomorrow is over, the day after tomorrow is over, isn't that the day after tomorrow? There is also Shimada. Well, Yoshioka, Susumu, get ready.

"STEP FORWARD", Thursday February 10th 2022 (Korakuen Hall, Tokyo)
STINGER (HAYATA & Seiki Yoshioka) vs Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai & YO-HEY)

As Yuya Susumu is a freelancer, he was not at Korakuen Hall today, so a murderous looking Seiki Yoshioka entered carrying the tag belts. It wasn't just YO-HEY he had to contend with today, it was also NOSAWA Rongai now, who immediately butted heads with him. Yoshioka's focus was still YO-HEY however, and his form of lock up was to shove him. NOSAWA had told YO-HEY that he wanted to see more, although he had seen it, he was almost still demanding it.

With Yoshioka focusing on YO-HEY, HAYATA took on NOSAWA. Specifically, NOSAWA'S arm by pounding his elbows into it. Normally HAYATA has a sadistic smile when inflicting some pain, today it was more of a cold satisfaction. YO-HEY and Yoshioka were less controlled than HAYATA and NOSAWA, HAYATA was more focused on punishment, Yoshioka on anger and revenge, there was more of a human story between YO-HEY and Yoshioka.

WINNER: Seiki Yoshioka with the Crash Driver on YO-HEY (9 minutes, 56 seconds)

Yoshioka had his revenge for both himself and Susumu. He took both the belts and held them over YO-HEY, driving his knee into his neck as he did so.

BELTS VACATED
The tag belts where vacated on the 11th February due to Seiki Yoshioka breaking his ankle. Noah arranged for the titles to be defended between HAYATA & Yuya Susumu (STINGER) and YO-HEY & NOSAWA Rongai in Nagoya on the 23rd. Ironically, this comes at the same time as the GHC Heavyweight tags have been vacated, and in another strange twist both Seiki Yoshioka and Keiji Mutoh are from W-1.
