1. HAYATA

VS HAYATA
"MAJESTIC 2022", 29th April, Sumo Hall

After Eita won the title, fans had suspected that Yoshinari Ogawa was going to challenge. Ogawa had hinted at such in taunting Daisuke Harada in Kumamoto about his belt loss, and making belt motions. Eita had evidently thought so too, and had thought that either might challenge in Fukuoka the next day. Neither did as they where never given the chance, as Eita and Super Crazy had the match thrown out due to cheating, and gave HAYATA a humiliating shampoo wash.

At "JUST FINE 2022!" at Korakuen Hall on the 23rd March, HAYATA got his revenge when he snuck up behind Eita during his singles match with YO-HEY and attacked him with the belt. HAYATA wasn't going to rely on water and soap, he bloodied Eita and threw him into the ring where he continued the attack, even going so far to do the 403 Impact on the belt. Eventually, Perros came into the ring, as did STINGER and HAYATA spoke on the microphone to announce his challenge.

JUST FINE! 2022 (Wednesday 23rd March, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo)
Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai, Eita & Kotaro Suzuki) vs STINGER (HAYATA, Yoshinari Ogawa & Yuya Susumu)

Eita was not in the mood for messing around today, he entered looking grim, with a bandage and a bottle of water, which he threw at STINGER and things escalated quickly into a melee brawl with Yoshinari Ogawa vs Kotaro Suzuki, and HAYATA vs Eita. Eita had not even removed the GHC Junior belt. The fight stopped briefly as everyone was in danger of being counted out, but carried on in the ring. Eita was still wearing the GHC Junior Heavyweight when after an apron kick from Yoshinari Ogawa, HAYATA struck and pinned him.

WINNER: HAYATA with the Headache (1 minute, 44 seconds)

No one had even tagged into the ring. HAYATA posed with the belt, before draping it on Eita, and that was that and STINGER left. Backstage, a bloodied Eita sat with the belt that was covered in his blood, and reflected that the last two days had been humiliating.

REAL OVERTURE 2022 (Gunma / G Messe Gunma, Sunday April 3rd)
Perros Del Mal De Japon (Eita, NOSAWA Rongai, Kotaro Suzuki & Super Crazy) vs STINGER (HAYATA, Yoshinari Ohawa, Yuya Susumu & Yasutaka Yano)

Noah had a special referee for this match today. Kyohei Wada had come from All Japan. Wada's history, like much of Baba era All Japan, is tied up with Noah's although he was not part of the walkout. To explain briefly, if the Noah Born wrestlers trace their lineage back to Baba via Misawa, then the Noah referees trace theirs back to Baba through Joe Higuchi and Kyohei Wada. At the time of the walk out to All Japan, Wada told Misawa when he approached him about it that he knew what he was doing and not talk to him about it or anywhere near him. Wada stayed with All Japan when Misawa left with many others, at the request of Giant Baba. Knowing that his wife, Mokoto, was a difficult woman, perceptive Baba knew that with him gone nothing would hold Misawa and Mokoto back, and one of them (probably Misawa) would leave. He said to Wada that he didn't think that Mokoto had truly such a bad personality that no one would want to stay with her. Wada stayed, and he stayed until the end. There is a sad ending to their relationship. Desperate for a child (hence the reason why Noah took All Japan's paternalism too), the All Japan wrestlers had become like the Baba's children, but since they could not have any naturally of their own, they tried to adopt so that they would have both a son and a legal heir to inherit the business. Mitsuharu Misawa and Atsushi Onita where two of the people they tried to persuade, and even on her deathbed, Mokoto tried to adopt Wada.

Eita did not look like he was here to play games today, and everyone somehow waited for the bell. Perhaps this was because Kyohei Wada exuded a certain presence, if so they were soon back up to their usual selves as melee brawls did break out. Yoshinari Ogawa, who Wada knows better than anyone having seen Ogawa grow up in All Japan, kept Kotaro Suzuki firmly in his eyes.

NOSAWA dared complain about Wada's counting speed, even calling him "Baldy" at one point. Wada responded with a few choice words of his own.

Aside from his issues with this old man from the Showa era and his old fashioned refereeing, NOSAWSA concentrated on getting revenge on Yasutaka Yano for humiliating him, even throwing the ring stairs at him. But again, Yano got the upper hand and threw him into a barrier.  So, in a panoramic scene which included a melee fight outside the ring, the trainees bringing the ring steps back, and Eita throwing water at HAYATA, everyone got counted out.

RESULT: Double count out (9 minutes, 7 seconds)

Kotaro Suzuki and Yuya Susumu argued this with Wada as everyone got back in the ring. Eita holding the belt up to HAYATA. Things got so heated between Kotaro, Susumu and Wada, that it threatened to get physical and Wada even butted heads with Susumu.

JUST FINE! 2022 (Friday 9th April, Korakuen Hall, Tokyo)
Perros Del Mal De Japon (NOSAWA Rongai, Eita & Kotaro Suzuki) vs STINGER (HAYATA, Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu)

Seiki Yoshioka returned to Noah following foot injury, and the The Hiroshima boys where reunited. Eita smirked as he held up the belt to HAYATA. He had sworn revenge for being busted open. Naturally, Eita believes he is innocent in all this. HAYATA as usual has made no comment. Eita and HAYATA started, Eita with an eye rake after tagging Kotaro in. Kotaro was not interested in HAYATA, he wanted Yuya Susumu. Just like the last tag match clash, everyone started brawling outside the ring while Kotaro and Susumu fought in it.   Eita of course had to get involved, breaking Susumu's hold, and the juniors went back to their mass brawl outside the ring when HAYATA threw him out.

Eita remembered how easy it was to humiliate Yoshioka last time, and it would have happened again a lot sooner if it wasn't for HAYATA. Yoshioka was lucky the second time, as with HAYATA knocked down from an a kick, he kicked out. Eita got Yoshioka in a sub he couldn't escape from, and with Susumu kept out of the ring and HAYATA dazed and unable to help, there was nothing he could do but tap.

WINNER: Eita with the Numero Uno on Seiki Yoshioka (8 minutes, 8 seconds)

Afterwards, Eita bent over HAYATA and shoved the belt in his face before leaving. Fans noticed he was limping. Eita seems to be fine though, he went back to insulting fans backstage and telling them basically to "use their tiny brains" in processing the fact that he was main evening the junior night at Sumo Hall.

Title match
"MAJESTIC 2022", 29th April, Sumo Hall

HAYATA debuted new ring wear. Fans thought his jacket looked like a black version of YO-HEY's. Eita did not dress up for the occasion. HAYATA, who looked even more otherworldly than usual with his catseye contact lenses and sadistic smile, was humiliated initially by Eita who knocked him outside of the ring and then poured water on him. While HAYATA was down outside of the ring and the ref was checking on him, Eita took the turnbuckle pads off, but this backfired and caused Eita to bleed when HAYATA tripped him.

When it came time for the dreaded Headache, NOSAWA interfered by getting up on the apron and this allowed Eita to Imperial Uno kick. HAYATA (fortunately) kicked out. Eita was tough enough to take another three moves which dropped him directly on his head, but there was no kicking out of one final devastating move.

WINNER: HAYATA with The Headache (28 minutes,  8 seconds)

Next Champion: HAYATA
