On the 5th April, six Noah Junior Regular Army wrestlers, including Daisuke Harada and Atsushi Kotoge, held intensive training on a sandy beach, did meditation at a temple and underwent intensive special training on stone steps for the Junior Sumo Hall on April 29th. Harada said, "I want to do something like a training camp, but one that is different from the usual dojo practice". It is a grand challenge as they head towards the junior Sumo Hall. To make his words a reality, he worked hard on one day training.

Early in the morning, the six Noah Junior Regular Army members, Harada, Kotoge, YO-HEY, Haoh, Alejandro and Junta Miyawaki, gathered on a sandy beach. First of all they ran on the beach, which is said to be difficult to run on and then performed leapfrogs, wheelbarrows and piggyback squats. Additionally, they did the driftwood challenge of lifting and rolling to the limit of an adult man. Literally covered with sand, they sweated for more than two hours, they trained their physical strength for Sumo Hall borrowing strength from the sea.

Next, they moved to Choshoji in Koganei, Tokyo and worked on meditation. Every now and again they where encouraged by the encouragement stick*. While receiving this they improved their concentration and sharpened their mentality.

Finally, they moved to Ikegami Honmonji Temple, where Rikidozan rests, and finished their training. They ran up the stone steps, which boasts one of the largest number in Tokyo, and with faint voices they ran up five times* as they launched special training with breaking through the limits for the success of Sumo Hall. After refining their physicality on an unusual environment and training menu, and improving their mentality, in the end the six of them talked and deepened their ties with encouragement to each other.

The special training will be broadcast on Noah's official YouTube channel soon.

The cards are gradually taking shape for the junior Sumo Hall. After the special training day, Harada said "Throughout the day, the cohesion and the morale of all have improved dramatically! on April 29th at Sumo Hall, N-Innovation, we will definitely succeed!"

*The meditation they did was under the Sōtō Zen sect, known as "Silent Illumination". This aims to still the mind and seek enlightenment rather than focusing on breathing as in other sects. The encouragement stick (the name given to it in Sōtō Zen, elsewhere it is a "Zen stick"), is used to strike those whose get distracted during meditation.
*There are 96 steps at Ikegami Honmonji, so running up them 96 times meant that they did 480 steps. YO-HEY said he and his aching body spent a long time in a warm bath.
