(NOAH) EVENT RECAP: SUNNY VOYAGE 2022, Saturday 15th October (Sun Arena, Sendai)

Today's event will be broadcast on WrestleUniverse on the 18th October from 18:00 JST. You must be a subscriber to view. As the event was not broadcast live I don't really have too much information and in most cases (except for the Noah Juniors and the main event and scraps of others), I can only really post results and I am very grateful to Kei for the information (ありがとうございました!)

MATCH ONE
Shuhei Taniguchi vs Taishi Ozawa
Winner: Shuhei Taniguchi with the Double Sledgehammer (6 minutes, 58 seconds)
*Note, this is not a move that Taniguchi uses often.

MATCH TWO
Xtreme Tiger vs Kai Fujimura
Winner: Xtreme Tiger with a Reverse Face Bomb (5 minutes)

MATCH THREE
Ninja Mack & YO-HEY vs Perros Del Mal De Japon (Eita & Super Crazy)

NOSAWA Rongai was not in this match, or even on this card, but naturally at the start of the match he felt he had to interject himself and YO-HEY dropkicked him out of the ring. NOSAWA hung round at ringside after that, generally making a nuisance of himself and getting revenge on YO-HEY and beating him up and throwing him back in.

WINNER: YO-HEY & Ninja Mack after NOSAWA attacked YO-HEY with a chair (8 minutes, 59 seconds)

MATCH FOUR
Masato Tanaka & Funky Express (Mohammed Yone & Akitoshi Saito) vs Masa Kitamiya, Daiki Inaba & Yoshiki Inamura
WINNER: Masato Tanaka with the Sliding D on Daiki Inaba (13 minutes, 51 seconds)

Masato Tanaka (who I have seen do The Team No Respect Dance in different forms in FMW and Big Japan) was game enough to join in with Disco Fever pose.

MATCH FIVE
Seiki Yoshioka vs Hi69
Winner: Seiki Yoshioka with Buzzsaw Kick (13 minutes, 20 seconds)

Yoshioka stood over Hi69 holding the tag belt afterwards, I think Hi69 may have been attacking his knees, so Yoshioka was limping. Backstage Yoshioka said his knees were in tatters, but he was never going to give up the belt.

MATCH SIX
Kaito Kiyomiya & STINGER (HAYATA & Yasutaka Yano) vs Jack Morris & STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa & Chris Ridgeway)

There was one sweet side to this and that was HAYATA and Kaito Kiyomiya calling out instructions to Yasutaka Yano as the poor boy got savaged by Chris Ridgeway, who even ripped off Yano's boot to do the anklehold. Ridgeway once again sent a message to Katsuhiko Nakajima by doing the Shutter Chance (on HAYATA).

WINNER: Chris Ridgeway via Ankle Lock on Yasutaka Yano (20 minutes, 7 seconds)

Usual chaos after the match, YO-HEY ran in to (what it looked like) either haul Ridgeway off of Yano or else he was attacking Ridgeway in revenge for the brutal attack he suffered earlier in the month, the sight of YO-HEY in he ring causing a fight caused Perros del Mal to come out and Ogawa once again tried to shake hands with Eita, with NOSAWA pulling Eita away.

MATCH SEVEN
Takashi Sugiura, Satoshi Kojima, Naomichi Marufuji, Atsushi Kotoge & Alejandro vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Manabu Soya, Tadasuke & Hajime Ohara)
WINNER: Kenoh with the PFS on Satoshi Kojima (16 minutes, 1 seconds)

The finisher on Kojima was apparently pretty brutal with the Vertical Spike by Katsuhiko Nakajima being done before the PFS. The two of them did the pose once again by a decimated Satoshi Kojima. Kenoh, as the winner, was then awarded with the winners prize, GET Tuna, by the sponsors. The prize was in the form of their logo, a giant Tuna, which kind of gave the Kongoh pose a funny element. Kenoh was even carrying it with him backstage when he went to yell about Sugiura and Kojima.

Attendance: 342
