Kenoh (38), who leads Noah's dissident group, "Kongoh", declared a break with All Japan Pro Wrestling. At Keiji Mutoh's retirement event (21st February, Tokyo Dome), Kenoh, along with Katsuhiko Nakajima and Manabu Soya, took part in a match competing against All Japan's Kento Miyahara, Suwama and Yuma Aoyagi. After developing a fierce battle with Suwama, in the end he defeated Aoyagi, who holds the World Tag Team Championship, by PFS (diving foot stamp), won the match and announced his challenge for the AJPW Unified World Tag Team Championship with Soya. In the midst of the rivalry, Kenoh updated his Twitter on the 28th. Quoting Suwama's backstage comment at the previous night's All Japan Shinkiba event, he unilaterally announced the putting an end to the rivalry, saying, "Kongoh will break up with All Japan!".
It was Suwama's remarks after the match on the 27th that caused Kenoh so much disgust. Suwama thoroughly punished Aoyogi, who lost the match. After being defeated and sprawled out by being hit with a pipe chair, he butted in with "Let me and KONO challenge for the World Tag Belts! Remember, if you let Kongoh's Kenoh and Soya challenge, Voodoo Murders come first!" At this remark, Kenoh immediately expressed his displeasure, "Huh? Isn't it strange that the Managing Director Suwama does something like this, and so All Japan's business doesn't go up." He pointed out that he was going to focus on the GHC tag team now against Daiki Inaba and Masa Kitamiya at the Yokohama Budokan event on March 19th.
Will Kongoh and All Japan come to an end without meeting because of the Managing Directors recklessness?
