(NOAH) Post match interviews: SUNNY VOYAGE 2023 (Tuesday March 14th)
SHUHEI TANIGUCHI
"On the 19th March come here for the match against Sugiura at the Yokohama Budokan, while being told there is no after, there is no other chance. Here, I will make a firm determination and go with the intention that there really is no other chance. It doesn't matter what you say, I would like to face the current situation with complete preparedness."
KENOH
"Is that the GHC Tag Champion? That's not enough, but wait...this is the second match, right? I'm in the second match, and the junior pre matches are in the semi and the semi before? It's like this because the current GHC Tag Champions are irrelevant. I said it at the Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium too, as I was fighting with a guy who couldn't do anything about it. The Yokohama Budokan is also before us. The Junior tag, all the champions are pathetic...is Kitamiya's match now? Come to think of it, Kitamiya always had bad luck when he became tag champion.
MANABU SOYA & KENOH
SOYA: March 19th at the Yokohama Budokan, today was the final pre match. This singles match was huge, and it gave me the greatest confidence. This victory will definitely lead to a title match for the GHC Tag, and me and Kenoh will be the new GHC tag champions!
KENOH: Hey, did you hear that? Isn't this momentum real? But before that, Kitamiya, don't look so scared, but it's what happens when you become tag champion. Three times, all three partners have gone somewhere. Myself, Kenoh, Katsuhiko Nakajima, oops, I guess I will just bleep the rest. Isn't that right? All three got fed up when you became the champion, and went somewhere else, didn't they*? Isn't that going to be the case with Inaba too? Are you going to go somewhere else again? I mean, it's because you are unpopular and that's because you really don't have any connections. Looking around the pro wrestling world, I found someone with a reputation that far exceeds yours. That's Suwama from All Japan...no, he's Managing Director Kohei Suwama. He is connected. What the hell, it appears that he is active as a volunteer probation officer in Kanagawa Prefecture. Hey, he's not just a pro wrestler, but a probation officer. That's really cool, isn't it? He's a wonderful person. He has a great personality, and a great reputation. "Thanks to Kenoh, we were able to sell tickets for the Ota Ward General Gymnasium". Thank you very much". You're a wonderful Managing Director, Kohei Suwama, who can express gratitude. Next time, use that popularity to enrich us too. Managing Director Kohei Suwama, on March 19th you are invited. Seats at the Yokohama Budokan are reserved. We are inviting you, not like a guest like Los Ingobernables. You have a reserved seat. At March 19th at the Yokohama Budokan, All Japan Pro Wrestling's Managing Director, Kohei Suwama, we look forward to seeing you.
NOTES
Kitamiya's tag partners: Not exactly true that they all ditched Kitamiya as Kenoh betrayed him for Takashi Sugiura, Kitamiya turned on Nakajima as he couldn't stand him, and as for his third partner, well, I will leave that to the rumor that his dismissal from Noah was due to theft of protein powder.
CHRIS RIDGEWAY
"Eita, I always have to clean my boots and my body, which are stained with your blood. They are always stained with your blood. But anyway, I beat Eita, and I beat Yoshinari Ogawa. I'm beating all of Noah's top wrestlers so far. You know what this means. If you think about what will happen at the Yokohama Budokan, you'll know what this means."
KAITO KIYOMIYA
KIYOMIYA: Alright! There is something that Jake doesn't have, something I learned at Noah. I will never lose to him at the Yokohama Budokan. This is an important time, so I can't look down, because I want to run together with you. I will go up cheerfully and happily, so please come and visit Yokohama.
Q: After finishing the pre-matches, what are the warning points to watch out for again?
KIYOMIYA: I think there is definitely more depth that I haven't explored yet. That is scary, but I can't be scared of the unknown, so I will face forward and go there with everyone.
Q: Jake was a cool guy who signed an autograph for a little girl during the match for White Day
KIYOMIYA: Well, to be honest, I think it's great that he's my opponent, but in a title match there isn't probably the luxury of it, and even if get even a little bit of a chance like today, I'm going to take it.
Q: Do you have a strong desire to create something together, including with the audience?
KIYOMIYA: Now that young wrestlers and new wrestlers are coming to Noah, I really feel that a new trend and a atmosphere is being created and I think there is no point looking down. I don't know where the goal is, but I am going to run towards it anyway, and I want to run with a smile.
