Penetrating the ego. Jake Lee (34), who won the GHC Heavyweight Championship for the first time after defeating Kaito Kiyomiya (26) at Noah's event in Yokohama on the 19th, eloquently spoke about his "general policy".

Bit by bit, the match developed to push the champion. He threw Kiyomiya, who was set in the top of the corner, in the form of a Water Wheel Drop, successfully inflicting great damage. After succeeding in giving him a Giant Killing Knee Strike (which stopped movement), a strong Skewered Front High Kick to the face won the victory. After the match, Jake, who received a challenge from Katsuhiko Nakajima, pointed to the sky saying, "This is the opponent I wanted to fight the most. I will take the helm of Noah".

From the time of his shocking participation in January, he has hoped that, "I want to wrestle with various guys". Looking at his second singles title following the Triple Crown Heavyweight he won during his All Japan era, he said with a smile, "This will inevitably make that wish come true. Some wrestlers will change their expression, and so I am looking forward to it".

Even on becoming champion, he's not going to change his behavior. "Keeping with my ego, will eventually lead to Noah's excitement, right?" After declaring that he will reign as an egoist champion at the cenre of The Ark, he emphasized, "I am a mass of ego, so when I look back now, it has always been that way, both when I was in All Japan and when I left. In the end, it all boils down to being for yourself".

The "new business model" that he has been talking about for some time, will also start in earnest. "Watch me. I will do it little by little and in a visible and easy-to-understand manner". With Tadasuke and YO-HEY newly joining the self-led "GLG" on this day, he also suggested that he would move to further expand his power. "There are still some diamonds in the rough that I am interested in, and I wonder what will happen if we approach them. I think my ego is going to catch up more and more of the surroundings".

With the birth of a new champion, a spring storm is sweeping the Ark's mat.
