KIYOMIYA: Okay, this is Kiyomiya. The tag team title match will take place on November 4th at the Niigata City Gymnasium. The tag with Ryohei started on September 3rd in Osaka, and within two months, the tag title challenge was decided. However, the last two months have not been smooth. Ryohei came to Noah alone from New Japan, and I think that took a lot of determination, and I started from a point of no contact. There was a wall still between us when we met in August, right?
OIWA: Yes, there was
KIYOMIYA: I think I called you "Oiwa" at that time
OIWA: Yes, that's right. Oiwa and Kiyomiya.
KIYOMIYA: From there the two of us went out to eat and practiced together, and that's how we got to the point of challenging for the GHC tag. The two of us will overcome that, and aim to become the unparalleled tag champions.
OIWA: Hello, this is Ryohei Oiwa. My feelings are mostly the same as Kaito-san's. Ever since I came to Noah almost, Kaito-san has always helped me during matches, at the dojo, and in my personal life, so in the championship match, I'm going to repay Kaito-san and I'm going to win against Jack Morris and Anthony Green. On November 4th at the Niigata City Gymnasium, I want to beat these two and engrave my name and Kaito-san's name firmly in Noah history. Thank you.
MORRIS: I feel really great right now. I'm extremely happy to be sitting here as the champion. The last time, when I was sitting here at a title match signing, I swore that I would become the champion next, and I did exactly that when I won the belt, and now I am here as the champion. I think the challengers are a really fresh and hungry tag team, but right now, I am going to say this clearly, that even these two can't compete with Jack Morris and Anthony Green.
GREEN: I think as this is normally the place to ask questions, I would like to ask the two challengers, a question myself. How long have you been a tag team? How long have you known each other? I don't think there is any doubt in anyone's mind that they are both great wrestlers in their own right. However, when it comes to working as a team, I don't think you can match the Good Looking Guys.
KIYOMIYA: It's been two months since we came to Noah and started working together as a tag team. It may have been a little other a month, but I can't lie when I say that the two of is have spent this unprecedented time together, and I am confident in our bond.
Q: What is your impression of the champions?
KIYOMIYA: I feel that as a team, they have very well established the teamwork aspect of Noah.
OIWA: GLG got all excited with the addition of a new member the other day, but Kaito-san and I are going to destroy them.
Q: Do you have any objections to Green's remarks?
OIWA: It's true that we have only been together for a little over a month, but we practice at the dojo every day, eat chanko together, and talk a lot about pro wrestling. We've learned what it takes to be a tag team. I think everything is ready. We've only been working together for a month and a half, but we have a strong bond.
Q: How strong is the bond between the champions?
GREEN: If I were to compare self confidence to music, I'd say they have just come out, and are pretty low on the charts, whereas I think we can be compared to musicians who are at the top, and who can aim for first or second place, or are in first or second place. That's how much of a difference there is in terms of a bond between them and us.
MORRIS: I think it's fine. It's cute that they are confident, but you can't defeat us just by having confidence in your bond.
Q: What do you think about the GHC tag?
OIWA: This is my first title match since coming to Noah, so it is a great chance to prove that what I have been doing with Kaito-san up until now has been correct. I think that if Kaito-san and I win here, our tag will transcend the boundaries of promotions and become the best and unique tag team. I will definitely win and wear the belt.
Q: What is the significance of two young people in their twenties transcending the boundaries of their promotions, and becoming tag team champions?
KIYOMIYA: It figures that as it will be unprecedented for Noah, I think we will be unprecedented champions
Q: There is a young wave in the pro wrestling world as a whole, do you have a desire to be at the forefront of it?
KIYOMIYA: What I am looking at now is the tag belt. If I was thinking about other things, then I would think that this belt would not be something that we could win, so we will continue to move up together while looking at what is right in front of us.
Q: What kind of match do you want to show in your important first defense? How do you want to win?
MORRIS: At the moment, we don't have any specific plans; we just want to do what we've always done. That's what led to these belts, and so what we have been doing up until now, wasn't a mistake. Nothing has changed since then, and we want to get into the ring as the best tag we have ever been, the best to hold these belts, and celebrate at the end.
Q: What kind of "unparalleled" would you like to create by winning the GHC tag?
KIYOMIYA: Personally, I'm not thinking about the future right now. As the saying goes, "Those who chase two hares will never catch one"*, so now I would like to focus on this belt.
OIWA: By Kaito-san and myself winning these belts, it will be a generational change, not only in Noah, but in the entire Pro Wrestling world...there is a generational change in every ring right now, that's all there is to it, and so we want to take the lead in creating that generational change.
Q: The keyword is the bond between tag partners, but what do you think is amazing about your respective tag partners?
KIYOMIYA: Firstly, he's been very positive. Yeah, we've had a lot of things happen since we came to Noah, but I think it's I think it's very attractive that he always looks ahead and has a desire to improve no matter what.
OIWA: Kaito-san is also very positive from my point of view
MORRIS: I have been close to Anthony Green since I first came to Noah in August 2022. Since then, we've been together almost every day, not just during matches, but more than just tag partners, we're friends. I consider him to be a truly irreplaceable partner.
GREEN: This belt means everything to me, and the history this belt has means everything to both of us. More than anything, the friendship between us, myself and Jack Morris, is really important. That's why I can't think of Jack Morris as anything other than the best tag partner.
