On the 9th, Pro Wrestling Noah's GHC Heavyweight Champion, Kenoh, streamed live on his YouTube channel (the "Kenoh Channel") and apologized for his blunder. Kenoh defeated Jake Lee on October 28th at the Fukuoka Center to regain the GHC Heavyweight title. However, in his first show as champion, he teamed up with Dragon Bane and Alpha Wolf at the Niigata City Gymnasium on the 4th of this month and defeated Jake Lee, YO-HEY and Tadasuke, but he participated without wearing the belt, which caused a stir.
On the live YouTube broadcast, Kenoh revealed that he entered the ring without wearing a belt, explaining as he bowed deeply to apologize, "It was my first time as the GHC Heavyweight Champion in Niigata the other day, and I am really sorry to all the Niigata asshole fans for entering without the belt." He revealed the truth behind not wearing the belt, "I wasn't wearing it, and it wasn't in Niigata either. To be honest, I forgot." He reflected on his blunder and said, "I'm disqualified as a professional. I'm disqualified as a champion."
Kenoh explained how it happened. According to Kenoh, Noah normally manages the belt, but since there was a photo-shoot the day before the Niigata event, he kept it. Then, on the day of the show, when he was travelling to the meeting place to go to Niigata by bus, he took the belt in his own car but apparently forgot it. Kenoh reiterated, "I am truly sorry" and "I've been disqualified as champion", and promised that at the next event (11th November, Edion Arena Osaka Second Stadium), "Certainly, I'll definitely enter wearing the belt" he promised.
