El Hijo Del Dr Wagner Jnr, the first Mexican champion in GHC Heavyweight History, faces one of his toughest opponents in his first defense. Jake Lee announced his challenge to Wagner Jnr, who had accomplished the feat of defeating Kenoh at the February 4th Sendai show. The first singles showdown for the title will be held at Korakuen in the early spring.

Jake, who is aiming for a comeback for the first time in five months, has not lost momentum following the fall. While increasing support with the microphone at key points, he has further increased his presence with a different approach to the title, such as creating passionate fights and setting up elimination matches against the main team. He also said, "this year, I will be conscious of the world", and a title match against Wagner Jnr would make the perfect stage. Also, just before this, he had a full time draw with Kazuyuki Fujita and announced that, "If I win the belt, I will nominate Fujita first". He has a wide range of prospects ahead of him, and there is much to be done.

Wagner Jnr won the only pre match (March 17th at the Yokohama Budokan), but after the match, Jake KOed him with a right high kick, resulting in a sudden loss for Wagner Jnr. Moreover, if he were to fall in his first defense, his name as an "Aztec Warrior" would be tarnished. Of course, Jake, who leads GLG, cannot lose consecutive matches fighting for the GHC, so it will be a risky match for both sides.

Wagner is 186cm tall and Jake is 192cm tall, so this looks to be a heavyweight fight, but their origins as wrestlers and fighting styles are completely different, so their chemistry is also interesting.

The first singles match between Ulka Sasaki and Naomichi Marufuji will also take place. Ulka, a former UFC fighter, has continued to participate full time and is rapidly evolving. Combined with his tanned physique, which is increasing in thickness, he is now a "different person" that he was during his MMA days.

In the VC (Victory Challenge) Tag League, which was his first experience of a league, he has continued to improve, with a series of highlights including two consecutive wins in the beginning. Singles matches with Kenoh and Marufuji were arranged.

In the match against Kenoh, he performed a series of "moves unique to pro wrestling", such as hanging upside down in the corner. After a series of attacks, he finally lost due to a count-out following a PFS outside the ring, and was "baptized into professional wrestling".

Speaking of "moves unique to pro wrestling", Marufuji is an outstanding figure in the professional wrestling world. He has developed original movements using the ring, and has influenced many wrestlers. Until now, Ulka has often been on the same team as Marufuji, but how will be face the "baptism of professional wrestling" this time, which is different from Kenoh?

A match was also set up between Kaito Kiyomiya & Ryohei Oiwa & Kenoh and Yu Owada, which ended in a draw in the Victory Challenge Tag League. It is still fresh in my memory that Owada made a huge effort at the 28th February Shinjuku event, resulting in a twenty minute full time draw, and a big Owada call after the match.

Although Kiyomiya and Oiwa showed their disappointment, they later won the Victory Challenge tag league. Although it was decided that they would challenge for the GHC Tag Team Championship, it was cancelled due to Kiyomiya's absence due to injury (spinal cord concussion). The champions, Jack Morris and Anthony Green, have also called for a showdown between the GHC tag champions and the VC tag champions, and Kiyomiya and Oiwa are hoping to get an official match, and challenge for the GHC tag.

On the other hand, Kenoh and Owada have also proposed a GHC tag challenge through Kenoh's YouTube channel, it is true, that if they defeat the Victory Challenge tag champions, they can challenge them. Owada, who is making rapid progress, is bound to heat up even more if he gets the chance to challenge for the title for the first time, and Kenoh's style of advocating the ark reform to revitalize young people is in full effect here as well.

GHC National Champion Jack Morris, will clash with HAYATA, who sparks have been flying with since the beginning of March, will clash once again in a six man tag team match at Korakuen.

Their story started at the March 2nd Nagoya show. HAYATA hinted at challenging for the National title by simply muttering, "National...", and after that, he continued to show up after Morris's matches and silently point to his belt. During matches he also continued to provoke by performing Morris's signature moves such as the Good Looking Knee, and the Tiger Driver. However, when he was pressed by Morris with, "Tell me clearly? Do you want to challenge?", he completely changed his mind and said, "I never said I would challenge", and even when directly confronted by Morris, he refused to be in contact with him. HAYATA has been making incomprehensible comments such as "I'm just interested in the red belt" and "I've never done the Tiger Driver". It will be interesting to see if he will take action in another direct confrontation, when he has been repeating incomprehensible comments to everyone around him.
