Noah's Kenoh (39) announced on the 25th that he will be holding "Rookie Audition 2" on his YouTube channel, the "Kenoh Channel".
Noah is always looking for new recruits, and Kenoh held auditions for those hoping to join on his Kenoh Channel last November, acting as the examiner himself and broadcasting close-up footage from the entrance test. Daiki Odashima, who passed the previous audition, made his grand debut at Korakuen Hall on the 14th of this month.
Kenoh explained the background to the second event, saying "After experiencing that thrill, I wanted to get more young people into Pro Wrestling Noah, so I decided to hold a second one." Explaining the background to the second event, Kenoh said the audition will be held on November 2nd at Yokohama Radiant Hall for those who pass the document screening. The conditions for the application are that the applicant must be male, over sixteen years old, over 170cm tall, and in good physical and mental health. It looks like a height restriction has been put in place from this time onwards. The first half will be a physical fitness test that is similar to Noah's entrance test, and the second half is an interview by Kenoh.
Odashima, who made his debut after eight months of training, also sent a message to the applicants saying, "To become a professional wrestler, you need to have the desire to become a professional wrestler no matter what. If you have that desire, please apply. Let's chase our dreams together." Kenoh expressed his enthusiasm for making this an annual event, saying, "Maybe we should do this once a year from now on in the fall. It's the time when people decide their future career paths, right?"
