(ALL JAPAN) DRESSING ROOM NEWS (27th March 1984)

Weekly Pro (Issue No.34)
27th March 1984

...All Japan Pro Wrestling is on a temporary truce until the opening match of the Grand Champion Carnival in Kisarazu (Kuragata Sports Hall) on March 23rd. However, beyond the sea, in the AWA Zone in Kiba, USA*, the fierce battle continues. The Mexico expedition team consisting of Koshinaka and Misawa, departed Narita on the 6th, heading to Mexico City via San Francisco. On the 2nd at the Roppongi office, Chairman Baba and President Matsune* offered words of encouragement, and final advice to Koshinaka and Misawa. The two were quite nervous, but they are todays young power, who are able to act calmly and with a clear mind. Misawa, full of fighting spirit, said, "Everyone has experienced it, so we have to too". Koshinaka (the older brother), in particular, is fully prepared to move from Mexico to America, saying, "I'm thinking of leaving Mexico for America as soon as possible. Anywhere in America is fine".
The move is well underway.
The first report from Mexico City will be hitting the pages of the magazine soon. It will be exciting to see how well these two will be able to utilize their strengths. For the time being, keep an eye on Mexican wrestling!

Notes
Kiba, USA: I don't know what this means, unless they are talking about the bar in Kiba. I am wondering if this is a typo as I can't find any evidence of either AWA or AJPW being associated with them. Kiba means "Lumbar" (as in wood), but I can't find anything relevant.
President Matsune: President of All Japan until 1989, after which Baba took over until his death in 1999. Founder of All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling.
