(NOAH): "I will do my best to aim for the top". The one who opened the door to Noah was Takeshi Morishima.
22nd August 2000 (Issue 991)
Noah's inaugural matches attracted the attention of many wrestling fans.
The opening match was between Takeshi Morishima and Makoto Hashi. It was a tense fight, with both of them saying that were "extremely nervous", but they asserted themselves firmly. Hashi said, "I want to reverse evolve like in the wild", but what made a bigger impact than his transformation, was Morishima's fighting spirit.
During his All Japan days, Morishima was sometimes seen to be nervous, but today he was different. He had a scary expression when he entered the ring, and before the finish, he made some self promotion. Every movement he made foreshadowed the birth of a new Morishima, he said "I don't think I'm the same person I was in All Japan, but I'll let the fans decide for themselves. From now on, I want to aim to be top."
Noah is finally on the move, and the door has been opened by the man who will carry Noah's future.
