The finale was an unexpected "Izumida" call. Who could have expected such an outcome? In the second match of the inaugural show, (NO-FEAR vs Taue & Izumida), the man who was thought to be the furthest away from the leading role in the promotion*, proved that he could make it through with his determination and ability.
NO-FEAR suffered an unexpected defeat in their inaugural six-man tag match, so this match was one they absolutely could not afford to lose in order to make a comeback. Since NO FEAR was going to win easily, it would be wise to target Izumida, who was one step behind the other four in terms of skill and substance. If anything, Omori and Takayama targeted him, and launched an attack. Takayama knocked Izumida down with a kick to the middle while yelling, "Short-ass!", and Omori delivered a drop kick while yelling, "Porky!". The two knocked Izumida down one after another with powerful attacks, and succeeded in gaining a foothold in the early stages. The flow of the match changed after five minutes, when Omori attempted an Axe Bomber outside the ring, but it accidentally hit the steel post, injuring his right arm. Still, NO FEAR, who had the advantage, dominated the match.
But then there was a sudden reversal at the very end. Omori hit Izumida with an Axe Bomber, and he then tries to attack Taue, but he is blocked and he ends up getting hit with a Kanmeki suplex* instead. With this, Taue's team regained the momentum, this time with a furious rush. A nodowaotoshi*, Izumida's meteor, and finally an arm lock, meant Izumida happily turned the match around from Omori. When Izumida let out a roar after winning, the crowd unexpectedly erupted in "Izumida" calls, and all of the venue they congratulated him for taking the win with his own talent.
Based on his recent performance, Izumida is often seen as inferior to Omori and Takayama, but in terms of career, he is the senior. He must have had the determination not to become a stepping stone or a pushover for them. Furthermore, Izumida felt a strong sense of jealousy* towards Takayama, who was originally a wrestler from another promotion, saying "It's no fun when someone comes in late, and acts so big headed. I'm not joking. Even if they don't say it, everyone is thinking, "What a piece of shit." I'm going to completely crush Takayama." By letting out his pent-up anger, Izumida seized both the opportunity and the victory
The leading role in professional wrestling is not something that is given to you from the beginning, it is something that you seize with your own efforts. Taue, Omori, Takayama..standing next to the leading wrestlers, it was Izumida who shone in the ring, like the leading man.
